Eagles Trying to Tackle Injuries

Word is that King Dunlap may not be able to play on Sunday, and that could become the Achilles heel for the Philadelphia Eagles. Dunlap was expected to play in place of starter Jason Peters, who was officially ruled out of this week’s action.

Recapping Day 3 of Redskins Free Agency

The Redskins made their biggest move of the day early Thursday morning by shipping disgruntled defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth to the New England Patriots in exchange for a 2013 5th round draft pick. This ends a dark chapter because Haynesworth is widely viewed as arguably the biggest free agent bust in franchise history, which should say something. Fellow Mayo Native Tries to Make His Presence Known in the NFL

On Monday night, the Redskins played host to the New York Giants. Obviously, as a Redskins fan it did not turn out the way I had hoped (it actually turned into a living nightmare) but one small aspect of the matchup that stood out to me was not what happened on the field, but who is involved.

In this case, I took a particular interest in the fact that a man in the NFL is representing my hometown of Mayo, Maryland.
