Commanders Beat Colts To Extend Winning Streak To Three

It was a battle of formerly backup quarterbacks. Sam Ehlinger stepped in for an injured Matt Ryan, and Taylor Heinicke made his second straight start for the Washington Commanders. Neither one of them looked like they’d be breaking any passing records any time soon, but in the end, Heinicke earned another pair of Nikes and came away with a 17-16 victory.

The Commanders quarterback ultimately put up decent numbers, going 23 of 31 for 279 yards with an interception and two touchdowns – one in the air, one on the ground. But in a tight match-up, it was Heinicke’s last two plays that made all the difference.

Week 8: Washington Vs Indianapolis Inactive Lists

It’s Week 8 of the 2022 NFL season. The Washington Commanders will face the Indianapolis Colts in a game that might have been a bit more personal were it not for an injury to Carson Wentz two weeks ago. Colts owner Jim Irsay spent most of the off-season bad-mouthing Wentz and looking like the jackass that he usually does.

Washington have rebounded from a tough start to the season, and are coming off two straight victories. Last week they beat the Green Bay Packers in a game that saw Taylor Heinicke return to the starting quarterback position.

First Look: Commanders Vs Colts – Head-To-Head, Odds, And More

The Week 8 game at Lucas Oil Stadium would have certainly been circled on Carson Wentz’ personal calendar. Not only did he come over to Washington from Indianapolis in the off-season, but did so, to a chorus of unprofessional psychobabble from Colts owner Jim Irsay. Unfortunately for Wentz, he’s sidelined with a broken finger and … Read more

Commanders Earn Taylor-Made Win Over Packers

Taylor Heinicke might not have the most NFL-est arm in the league, but Taylor Heinicke certainly has one of the most NFL-est attitudes in the game. With Carson Wentz out for a minimum of four games, Washington’s backup quarterback took to the field on Sunday to try and win a football game. And did.

In true Washington form, fans were split down the middle as to wether or not they should throw any praise in Heinicke’s direction. The bottom line is that the Washington Commanders beat a Green Bay Packers team that almost nobody expected them to beat. Especially with a backup quarterback at the helm.

Wallpaper Wednesday: Tress Way Mobile Wallpaper

Today’s wallpaper subject is Tress Way – because he’s about the only player on the Washington Commanders that is leading the NFL in any category. Tress has punted the ball a league-high 29 times.

Okay, maybe that’s not that positive a statistic, because you don’t really want to lead the league in that category. But that part isn’t Way’s fault.

First Look: Washington Vs Tennessee – Head-To-Head, Odds & More

The Washington Commanders were spanked at At&T Field on Sunday. They had their second division match-up in as many weeks and came away 25-10 losers to the Dallas Cowboys.

This week, they face the Tennessee Titans who are coming off of a gritty 24-17 divisional win over the Indianapolis Colts. It was the Titans second consecutive win after dropping their first two games. Their 2-2 division record has them sitting tied with the Jacksonville Jaguars atop the AFC South.

The Commanders (1-3) on the other hand, are already two back of the 3-1 New York Giants and 3-1 Dallas Cowboys, and three back of the undefeated 4-0 Philadelphia Eagles.

So how is the match-up shaping up?
