Losing Sucks… it’s true.

Laron! Get your head in the game

It was clear from the start… they got into Laron Landry’s head. He was focused on the big hit… his personal game plan: knock Jacobs out. We saw him on several occasions taking “special aim” on his personal boogieman. Fortunately, a penalty was called only once, but what the heck? Ummmmm… Laron? What about Gregg Blaches game plan? Laron? Just play the game. Forget last year… and stop letting bozo’s from other boards get into your head. Play the freaking game… you are too good to let people playing mind games break your discipline.

Did you know that the Redskins will set a record for consecutive games against winless teams this Sunday? It’s true. Clearly, the Gods have smiled upon us! The easiest schedule in football is ours. Danny must have used some kind of Redskins friendly virus on the scheduling computer. What fun!

It’s about time:

Mike Sellers has been named a Captain of the Special Teams, which is certainly well deserved. This could prove very interesting, as he is known to be the king of the pranksters at Redskins Park… There will be no restraining him now. Powerful, emotional leader…. bring it, Mike! Just PLEASE make sure Tanner Cooley’s got his camera running once in a while for your “team building” exercises…

Bright Future? Not this year…

Is there any doubt that Marko Mitchell needs to be active every game? Dude had 2 passes thrown his way on Sunday… Turned both into first downs. He has that intangible that turns an average player into a producer. He has earned his shot. Besides, what is there to loose? I’m on the official “Start Marko” bandwagon

In the desperate search for bright spots, there is Shawn Suisham… who remains perfect on field goal attempts (10, so far)… several of which have not been especially easy.

Beyond that, well, the Redskins are consistent.
