In honor of the start of the Redskins season, and to represent the change in culture in Redskins Nation, I have done up a new graphic.
Time was crunched, so this can be used as maybe a special Game Day Twitcon or avatar for now, but I will do up a wallpaper and maybe a couple more things with it next week.

The premier of the Brian Mitchell ‘Tailgate’ show aired tonight and I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Sure I have a biased opinion because THN was included in the show, but the format and the overall feel has a tangible quality that for me as a fan, was very different; moreover, it was extremely entertaining.
I know that you have all been laying awake in bed at night… hoping… waiting… dreaming about a day where you would see your favorite Redskins site (that’s us), get together with Redskin legend Brian Mitchell, to do a fan based show. Well Redskins Nation, today your dreams come true.
Ok, maybe you haven’t been losing sleep over it, or even given it a thought, but that all changes tonight at 8pm my friends.
With Devin Thomas spouting off to anyone that will listen about his former team, “the Deadskins,” it seemed appropriate to make him the subject of this week’s cartoon. I must warn you though, the content is suggestive and better suited for adult audiences only.
So without further ado…
In lieu of Devin Thomas’ comments about Washington over the last week or so, I thought it might be interesting to compare him to other players in the annuls of “Deadskins” receiving history. If you don’t get the Deadskins reference, a lot of the angst towards Devin Thomas, is because his new pet nickname for the team that wasted a second round draft pick and 5 million bucks on him is, that’s right, the Deadskins.

On Saturday, the Redskins released some 20-plus players to get down to the league mandated 53 players. Among the most notable or significant names in the releases were 2010 roster members’ Artis Hicks, Anthony Bryant, Horatio Blades and safety Chris Horton. Tonight will be the last preseason game for both the Washington Redskins and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The fourth game is often a bit of a throw away as coaches often try to get the starters a series or two of action, and then just look at their depth positions. Tonight at Fed Ex Field, there are likely more questions to be answered for both organizations, so expect to see at least a good first half of football.
The Bucs are 2-1 in the preseason so far, and are coming off of a 17-13 victory last week over the Miami Dolphins. The Redskins share that same 2-1 preseason record, but are of course coming off of a 34-31 loss at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens. It’s really tough to pick a team’s final 53-man roster – even with just over a week to go before it happens. So much can happen in that span, that it’s almost moot to try and make a bold prediction, let alone 53 of them. But it is still fun to make bad guesses isn’t it?
