Crossing A Line?
John Riggins has been at it for weeks with some serious venom cast in the direction of the Washington Redskins organization. Though sometimes radical, the brash Redskins legend often says a few things that ring true for many Redskin fans. But did his latest rant cross a boundary? Check out Dan Steinberg’s recap at D.C. Sports Bog, if you haven’t already seen or heard Riggins latest comments.
Hognostications Week 9
Congratulations go out to REDEEMEDSKIN for winning week 8 with a score of 10-3! Excellent job REDEEMEDSKIN! Rounding out the top 3 are VetSkinsFan and DesertSkin with a score of 9-4. The bulk of our hognosticators were tied at 8-5.
What’s Good?
So it’s a bye week, and for Redskin fans, that seems to mean a whole lot of people walking around with their heads down. Who can blame them? It’s been a tough first seven games.
Since the bye week is almost at the half-way point, I thought I’d take a look at the things that were ‘good’ for the Redskins in the first half of 2009.
Pro Bowl Voting Now Open
Calling all Redskin fans… the 2009 Pro Bowl voting is now open.
While it might be hard to think about the Pro Bowl in the middle of a dismal season, we as Redskin fans must unify and make sure that London Fletcher is selected this year.
Hognostications Week 8
Congratulations go out to our week 7 Hognostication winner langleyparkjoe who had a score of 10-3. Great job Joe! This proved to be a tough week and rounding out the top 4 are: DesertSkin, SkinsJock and TincoSkin with a 9-4 record. Keep up the good work guys.
Bang’s Cartoon: Flawed Execution
There aren’t many Redskin fans that aren’t familiar with John Tayman, aka Bang, and his cartoons. Unfortunately for Redskin fans, John spreads his particular brand of cartoon ‘love’ around to all NFL teams now, but his latest episode is definitely a must-see for Redskin fans.
Big Al As Advertised
As Redskin fans try to come together and unify, presumably so that they can commiserate with others, I thought I’d blog about one of the few bright spots of 2009 – Albert Haynesworth.
