What Are The Betting Odds For Washington’s New Name?
Earlier this week Washington announced that they would be revealing the new team name on 2-2-22. How exciting. Said almost nobody at this point, as it has dragged on far too long already.
The team did announce via Team President Jason Wright that the name would not be Red Wolves due to copyright issues. Red Wolves was considered to be the odds on favorite, and seemingly the fan-favorite as well.
So if not Red Wolves, what are the other names in play?

Wallpaper Wednesday: Vintage Joe Jacoby Mobile Wallpaper
After a season ending loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, it seemed like a good time to run a vintage wallpaper. Perhaps if we celebrate a player of yesteryear, it will take away some of the sting of the current year.
So today’s #WallpaperWednesday celebrates the greatest player, that is not currently in the Hall Of Fame.
Mr. Joe Jacoby.
First Look: WFT Vs Giants – Head-To-Head, Odds, And More
The Washington Football Team (6-10) head in to their Week 18 match-up with nothing to play for but pride. The same goes for their opposition – NFC East division rival New York Giants (4-12). It’s been a disappointing season for both teams.
Washington is currently on a four game slide having lost to both the Eagles and the Cowboys twice. The Giants have lost five straight.

Antonio Gibson To Covid List With WFT’s Season in The Balance
The Washington Football Team face the Philadelphia Eagles at Fed Ex Field on Sunday, in a must-win game. On Friday, Washington potentially lost one of the most important cogs in their offensive wheel. They had to place running back Antonio Gibson on the reserve / Covid-19 list.
To make matters worse, they had to add offensive lineman Ereck Flowers to the Covid list as well. That’s a significant hit to a running game that was likely going to see a lot of work unless Washington fell behind early.
Both Gibson and Flowers are vaccinated, and could possibly “test out” of isolation before the game.
Playoffs Unlikely But Mathematically Still Possible For WFT
A three game losing streak and a couple of embarrassing losses in a row, would appear to have stripped the life from this 2021 WFT season. However, the WFT are not out of it yet. There is a series of events that can transpire and get Washington into the playoffs. And it’s not that far-fetched or ridiculous either.
First and foremost, Washington have to win both of their two remaining games of course.
