Washington retired Sean Taylor’s jersey number 21 this past weekend. He is just the third player in Washington history to receive the honor.

Much ado has been made about the lack of notice to fans. Rightfully so, Sean deserved better.

Corn Elder Signed To Boost Banged Up Washington Secondary

The Washington Football Team needed to make a roster move today, after cornerback Darryl Roberts was put on Injured Reserve. Washington looked to Head Coach Ron Rivera’s former team as they have so often in his tenure. They signed cornerback Corn Elder off the Carolina Panthers’ practice squad on Wednesday.

Elder was drafted by Rivera and the Panthers in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Washington are coming off a disappointing 33-22 loss to the New Orleans Saints, where squandered opportunities kept them on the losing side of the ledger. The Chiefs on the other hand, were flat out pasted 38-20 at Arrowhead Stadium by the surging Buffalo Bills.
