William Jackson being unable to go, is a blow for Washington. Aaron Rodgers isn’t exactly the opposing quarterback of choice when you have a depleted secondary.
It’s a positive that Antonio Gibson is able to go again with the shin injury, and not on this list. Or is it? Eventually he might hurt that shin enough to not only land on the inactive list, but the season-ending injured reserve list.
The Washington Football Team have dropped two games in a row, heading into this NFC East versus NFC North match-up. They head to Lambeau Field on Sunday to face the 5-1 Green Bay Packers. The Packers have not lost a game since dropping their season opener.

The Washington Football Team limp into Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers in Week 7. They are two teams that appear to be heading in different directions.
Washington were dismantled by Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs 31-13 at Fed Ex Field in Week 6. Subsequently, they fell to 2-4.
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are 5-1 after a big 24-14 divisional win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
Washington retired Sean Taylor’s jersey number 21 this past weekend. He is just the third player in Washington history to receive the honor.
Much ado has been made about the lack of notice to fans. Rightfully so, Sean deserved better.
So why not at least honor him with a wallpaper?

Washington made a couple of roster moves today, all practice squad related. The team announced this afternoon that they had added kicker Chris Blewitt and linebacker De’Jon Harris. The Washington Football Team and the Kansas City Chiefs enter their Week 6 match-up with identical records of 2-3. That’s probably more surprising for the latter than the former. Can Washington rebound from a disappointing loss to the New Orleans Saints last week?
The Chiefs were pounded by the Buffalo Bills. Will Patrick Mahomes punish a struggling WFT defense and get the Chiefs back to .500 on the road? Can Taylor Heinicke protect the ball better, against a Chiefs defense struggling as much as Washington’s?
Only two men in Washington Football history, have ever had their number retired – Sammy Baugh and Bobby Mitchell. On Sunday, Sean Taylor will enter that rarified air, and have his number ’21’ retired. The franchise is announcing it just three days before the actual event.
That seems inappropriate doesn’t it?
Doesn’t it feel like such a monumental thing should be celebrated and marketed for weeks ahead of time?
