Compiled Analysis On Robert Griffin III

It’s no secret that I love pre-draft publications, whether I agree or disagree with the analysis they provide. In anticipation of what is likely going to give the Redskins a potential franchise quarterback for the first time in over 25 years, I bought four different magazines so far to gauge the opinions on Robert Griffin III.

So for your viewing pleasure, I have compiled the breakdowns on RG3 from all four magazines and put them in one place. Click on the photos to zoom in and judge for yourself.

So Long Mike

Free Agency can be exciting, and it can be hectic, but it isn’t all peaces and cream. The Redskins announced today that they have released their longest tenured player – Big Mike Sellers.

The NFL is a brutal business.

A veteran of 12 NFL seasons, Sellers has been with the Redskins since 2004 in his second stint with the team, but he was also with Washington from 1998-2000. The 36-year old fullback has obviously seen his on-field contributions wane over the last couple of seasons, but seemed to focus that unused energy into being a team leader, and even into moulding his replacement in youngster Darrel Young. It says a lot about a guy when he’s willing to mentor the man that is taking his job.

HenDog Needs A Coop

In Love With Two Players

In case you missed it yesterday Redskins fans, General Manager Bruce Allen held a press conference to fill in some blanks about the blockbuster trade between the Washington Redskins and the St. Louis Rams.

It is reported that Washington have traded their next THREE first round picks and a second round pick, to the St. Louis Rams for the number two overall pick. Did they pay too much?

When Pigs Fly?

We at theHogs.net never miss an opportunity to make a bad pun on a good pig cliche, so I can’t help but think on the day that the city of Indianapolis let one of the greatest football players EVER escape, that I should look outside for flying pigs.

Subsequently I could also skate my way to a hell that must have frozen over if the mighty Peyton Manning had actually been relieved of his Colts’ duties.

And yet I watched it happen.

Gregg Williams Bounty Scandal

So if you’re anywhere near a sports source today, you already know about the Gregg Williams scandal aka ‘BountyGate.’ Former Washington Redskins defensive co-ordinator Williams, who is now under the employ of the St. Louis Rams, has been enticing his defenses with bounties.

I don’t know if a football coach putting a bounty on a player’s head is as big a news story as it has become, but getting caught for it by the NoFunLeague, certainly will make this a story that is increasingly interesting to watch.

RGIII Composite Graphic

Well it’s already all over the internet and I never posted it anywhere but on Facebook and as my Twitter icon – but since people want to pillage it and crop off a watermark that I was nice enough to leave very discretely down one side so as to not take away from the pic, I may as well at least get it posted here for posterity!

Without further ado…
