That’s how you spell heartbreak. There’s hand wringing aplenty in Redskins Nation this day… though, for the life of me, I can’t really understand why.

Posted from Curmudgeon Corner, Maine Fans are cranky, these days. With the optimism that has come with the new management team, has also come “Mr Petulant”… Albert Haynesworth. Hey, Al… you blew it. You have taken an outstanding opportunity and screwed it up… Totally. You have become the poster child for “How not to manage … Read more
The muffed kickoff did nothing to tarnish the first impression… the first drive ended in a punt from the 34, but the aura was undiminished… from that point on, our 1st and 2nd team offense, defense, even special teams exuded it…
Competence.
Well, of course, there are mixed feelings. Joe Bugel was the architect of (arguably) the most dominant offensive line in football history. The Hogs were masters of the trenches for over a decade. The Hogs WERE Joe Bugel.

Russ Grimm is FINALLY about to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. This is welcome news to all fans of The Hogs. Redskins fans the world over are thrilled with this announcement. Russ Grimm was the heart of the Hogs.

I’m worried. I’m uncharacteristically optimistic. That frightens me, a bit.
Yesterday evening, the Eagles and Redskins finalized a deal, sending future Hall of Fame quarterback, Donovan McNabb to the Redskins in exchange for the 37th pick this year, and the Redskins’ 4 round pick next year (3rd round of certain performance measures are reached by McNabb).
This is NOT about the Redskins loss to the Detroit Lions… they did not deserve to win that game… while there were bad calls that influenced the outcome, a good team does not let the game fall into the hands of the officials to begin with. It’s probably happened for much of the league’s history, … Read more
