While I’m sure what I wrote had nothing to do with it, last week I blogged that I couldn’t believe that the Redskins hadn’t brought in an offensive lineman or two; at least give them a look, and see if they could try and improve the team’s anemic line play.

News and Notes: O-Line Woes
Is the career of six time Pro Bowl left tackle Chris Samuels in jeopardy? Samuels went down with a stinger, and to football fans, that’s generally something they associate with a lot of pain, but not much of a recovery time; but there’s a lot more to the situation because of Chris’ Stenosis condition (a narrowing of the spine).
Mid-Week News and Notes
Defensive end Renaldo Wynn was re-signed to the roster. In order for Washington to sign replacement punter Glenn Pakulak for the Panthers game, Wynn was released last week.
Why, Why, Why?
Why on earth do people constantly throw Vinny Cerrato under the bus as what ‘ails this franchise?’
Before you go off the deep end about that question, let me say that this isn’t AT ALL about defending Cerrato – the guy’s track record here in Washington speaks for itself. What I want to know is why people somehow don’t see what he is.
