Washington Commanders 2023 Coaching Staff – Changes For 2023

The 2023 offseason for the Washington Commanders saw some turnover in the coaching ranks. The most noteworthy of course, being the firing of Scott Turner at the end of the 2022 season.

Turner’s departure opened the door for Washington to hire Eric Bieniemy as their new offensive coordinator. He helped guide Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and their high octane offense, to two Super Bowls. He was also named Assistant Head Coach.

Sometimes you wish for something so hard, that when it happens, it’s hard to reconcile in your own mind. Case in point? Dan Snyder selling the Washington Commanders.

Sure it was weeks ago that Snyder reached an agreement in principle, to sell the franchise to Josh Harris and his group for $6 billion. Admittedly, it felt safe to say then that the reign of terror was finally coming to an end.

Building Up The History Section Of The Website With Legends Profiles

While the NFL offseason seems to grow shorter and shorter as the years go by, there is still an offseason. After the opening of free agency and the NFL Draft, there is definitely a lull in the action. There isn’t much to report on and there isn’t much to talk about.

One of the things that I have become passionate about, is trying to build up the history section of this website. So for me, using this time in the offseason to add to the resources that this site provides, seems like a good thing to do.

One of the thing that I have always wanted to have more of, is profiles of players that have been great for this team. Sure a lot of them are from what seems like long ago, but how else are the youth of today and tomorrow supposed to learn about the greats if there are few resources?

The Washington Commanders are gearing up for the 2023 NFL season, and fans are already buzzing with anticipation. Sure some of of the buzz is wether or not Dan Snyder will have sold the team by then, but hey buzz is buzz.

The 2023 NFL Draft is in the books – the Commanders have made their selections – and that means that the next event to look forward to in the off-season is the release of the 2023 schedule. It will be released some time in May. Exactly when, is more top secret than how they get the caramel in the Caramilk bar.

Commanders Part Ways With Center Chase Roullier After Six Seasons

After six years with the Washington Commanders, Chase Roullier’s time in Washington has come to an end. The Commanders announced the release of Roullier with a post-June 1 designation on Friday, allowing the team to save $8.37 million next season, with $4 million of dead money.

After being picked in the sixth round in 2017, the Wyoming product quickly became Washington’s starting center.

Looking Back At The Washington Commanders 2022 NFL Season

It wasn’t a losing season, but it wasn’t a winning one either. It was a very mixed bag for the Washington Commanders in 2022. Despite an auspicious beginning, they were in the playoff hunt until the second last game of the season against the Cleveland Browns – a 24-10 defeat that dashed any hopes of a playoff game.
