Zampese’s quarterbacks coaching position was given to to Tavita Pritchard, who has worked with the Stanford football team since 2010. After serving as the offensive coordinator at Stanford from 2018-22, this will be his first NFL position.

Bobby Engram will take over the duties as wide receivers coach. He fills a void left when Drew Terrell left to interview for a position with the Arizona Cardinals. Engram enters his first season in Washington after serving as the Baltimore Ravens tight ends coach from 2019-21 and wide receivers coach from 2014-2018.

Chris Harris left for the Tennessee Titans, opening up the defensive backs coaching position. The Commanders promoted from within and named Brent Vieselmayer to the position. He had been the assistant defensive backs coach from 2020-22.

Richard Rodgers Sr. also received a promotion. After serving as the assistant defensive backs coach from 2020-22, he will now serve as the senior defensive assistant/safeties.
