Commanders Earn Taylor-Made Win Over Packers

Taylor Heinicke might not have the most NFL-est arm in the league, but Taylor Heinicke certainly has one of the most NFL-est attitudes in the game. With Carson Wentz out for a minimum of four games, Washington’s backup quarterback took to the field on Sunday to try and win a football game. And did.

In true Washington form, fans were split down the middle as to wether or not they should throw any praise in Heinicke’s direction. The bottom line is that the Washington Commanders beat a Green Bay Packers team that almost nobody expected them to beat. Especially with a backup quarterback at the helm.

Wallpaper Wednesday: Tress Way Mobile Wallpaper

Today’s wallpaper subject is Tress Way – because he’s about the only player on the Washington Commanders that is leading the NFL in any category. Tress has punted the ball a league-high 29 times.

Okay, maybe that’s not that positive a statistic, because you don’t really want to lead the league in that category. But that part isn’t Way’s fault.

First Look: Washington Vs Tennessee – Head-To-Head, Odds & More

The Washington Commanders were spanked at At&T Field on Sunday. They had their second division match-up in as many weeks and came away 25-10 losers to the Dallas Cowboys.

Commanders Vs Cowboys: The Good, The Bad And The Fugly

The Commanders took on division rival Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, and came up short. Really short. The scoreline of 25-10 for Dallas was if anything, flattering to Washington. The Commanders started the season on a winning note, but have since dropped their last two. And failed to score a single point in the first half of both games.

So how is this week’s upcoming NFC East match-up, shaping up?

Commanders Versus Eagles: The Good, The Bad And The Ugly

The Washington Commanders weren’t just bad on Sunday, they were downright awful. In fact, break out the Thesaurus and look for even more colorful words that denote such a performance – dreadful, cataclysmic, abysmal, disastrous, horrendous, horrific. You get the picture. They all fit.

The Commanders took on division rival Philadelphia Eagles and just flat out mailed it in – pretty much across the board. Washington was lucky to get away with the 24-8 loss. It could have been considerably worse. Especially considering the Eagles were up 24-0 at half time.

To be frank, the Commanders were so bad that it was tough to find a single player to say positive things about.
