Capgate Photoshop: The Three Stooges

In honor of the three-headed monster that were kind enough to put together the whole concept of hitting the Washington Redskins with a $36 Million cap panalty and the Dallas Cowboys with a $10 Million penalty – I wanted to pay visual homage to this fair and impartial trio.

Of course on the left we have Roger Goodell – the Commish – the brainchild so to speak. I admit that due to many recent events, it may seem difficult to put ‘brain’ and ‘Roger Goodell’ in the same sentence, but he is the figurehead of this whole mess.

Cowboy Jeff Strikes Again: “Fined”

Like any good Redskins fan – I hate everything about the Dallas Cowboys – their stupid team, their stupid owner, their stupid colors, their stupid quarterback, their stupid fans – but I have managed to find one decent thing about the Cowboys other than their misery, and that’s Cowboy Jeff.

Every now and again, my twiend Cowboy Jeff puts together a parody song that is either applicable to the Redskins, or just so sardonic, that any Redskin fan will appreciate the Cowboy content.

Dallas Week: Memories of Rivalry Past

I was both impressed and amused by Deangelo Hall’s new found fiestiness…  in an “Awwww, come on, dude” kind of way…  Here’s this little guy, never known for his physicality, talkin’ “AH MA GONNA TAKE’EMOUT” smack with Tony Romo on Dallas Week.

Deangelo:  “Absolutely. I want to get a chance to put my helmet on whatever’s hurt,” Hall said. “Romo’s ribs—I’m going to be asking for some corner blitzes. If I know Felix Jones’(notes) shoulder’s hurt, I’m not going to cut him. I’m definitely going to try to hit him up high, so that’s just part of it.

“If you know something’s wrong with an opponent, you’re going to try to target in on that. We’re going to try to definitely get as many hats on that team as possible.”

Does it get any better?

Another Cowboys Parody Song

Cowboy Jeff is in rare form, as I received yet another parody song from him. My apologies to Jeff for not getting a link posted to it until now.

This one is dedicated to that ugly red-headed stepchild that mans the Cowboys sidelines these days – Jason Garrett – and is called Jerry’s Girl. It is to the tune of another 80’s “classic” Jesse’s Girl by Rick Springfield.

Cowboys Parody Song

You know, as a diehard Redskins fan, sometimes Monday and Tuesdays can be pretty gloomy. About the only thing that can brighten my mood is when the hated Dallas Cowboys have given their fanbase as little to cheer about that week.

If you missed the Cowboys game this week, in a move of inexplicable incompetence, Coach Jason Garrett called a timeout just before HIS OWN kicker Dan Bailey, kicked a game-winning 49-yard field goal. The kick came back, and on try number two, the Cowboys missed… and then went on to lose the game in overtime, 19-13 to the Arizona Cardinals. Considering the Cowboys dropped to 7-5, and the New York Giants sit at 6-6, it could prove to be a mistake that has playoff implications.

Redskins Held to Victory over Cowboys

I’ve never been a big fan of the officials. I’ve never really made that a secret. When they called unnecessary roughness on London Fletcher, I was fit to be tied. Redskins’ fans are all too familiar with the refs determining the outcome of games, but it’s a strange feeling when the call goes our way.

A guy I work with told me he was going to root against the Redskins last week. He’s not a Cowboys fan, he just hates the Redskins. He told me about how he, and a bunch of his friends who are Cowboys fans, were going to go out to a bar just so they could talk smack to Redskins fans when they lost.
