The pick is in. With the 19th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, Washington selected Jamin Davis out of Kentucky. The 6’3″ 234 pound linebacker is a physically impressive specimen, and is coming off a fantastic season for the Wildcats.
In 2020, he registered 102 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and three interceptions – including one returned for a touchdown. He also had a forced fumble and a blocked field goal – and all in ten games.
USA Today put out a great trade Value Chart and distributed it in various schemas to suit each NFL team. I never saw one for Washington, so I scarfed the Denver Broncos one, and made the necessary modifications.
I did notice that none of their versions had the new Cowboys logo on it, but mine does. *wink*

NFL.com’s Gregg Rosenthal just posted his General Manager Power Rankings based on how teams have drafted recently. How did the Washington management group fare in respect to others? It didn’t. The rankings left off the nine teams that have one draft (or less) of experience, so that left Washington’s three-headed approach off the list.
