Editor’s Note:
The News section has been a mainstay of the site since 2003. This site has always endeavoured to “scrape” the internet for worthwhile headlines. The amount of coding learned to accomplish such things back in the day, was truly noteworthy. Eventually RSS feeds came along and things started to get easier. Then RSS feeds when out of style again, when news outlets stopped writing so much.
Nowadays, users just “follow” their favorite journalists or news outlets and get their fix delivered to them daily and automatically. Still, we maintain the section for those that do still like to read, and to make sure that Washington fans can still use this site to stay plugged in.
