Washington’s right guard Brandon Scherff returned to practice in Week 10. The veteran has been on the shelf for four weeks with a knee injury.
Hopefully he will be ready for the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
Scherff’s future in Washington is uncertain without a contract extension. Things are infinitely more complex this next offseason as far as the Franchise Tag goes, as he has already been tagged twice.
Scherff Appreciation
The unassuming guys are easy to overlook.
Even when they’re 6’5″ and 320 pounds.
Scherff has been the main cog in the offensive line since being drafted in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He has been a steadying influence for the past seven seasons.
He is a four time Pro Bowler. How many other current Washington players can say that?
If you guessed zero. You’re correct. 🙂
So for today’s #WallpaperWednesday we celebrate Brandon Scherff !!

Can Washington re-sign him?
It would be a shame to lose such a good player, and leader.
He’s 29-years old. The Football Team have to be careful.
Hopefully Scherff will take a fair cheque.
There aren’t enough assets in the pot, to lose one of that quality.
