Jacory Croskey-Merritt Rookie of the Week for Second Time This Season In Week 5

Pepsi Zero Sugar named Washington Commanders running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt Rookie of the Week for Week 5. It is his second nod of the 2025 season, after earning the award in Week 1 as well.

The 2025 seventh-round draft pick out of Arizona delivered a strong performance in the Commanders’ victory on Sunday.

Bill carried the ball 14 times for 111 rushing yards. He also added 39 receiving yards. In addition, he scored two touchdowns in the game.

Croskey-Merritt became the first Washington Commanders player to earn the Rookie of the Week award in the 2025 season in Week 1. He becomes the only player to have won the award multiple times this season in week 5.

For a back that was selected so late in the draft, he has already exceeded expectations. The rookie turned heads when Washington cut Brian Robinson loose, but the young gun has proved worthy of the consideration.
