Commanders Week 13 Versus Titans: Daniels Leads Blowout Win Before Bye

LANDOVER, Md. — In Commanders Week 13 versus Titans, Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin delivered one of their most complete performances of the season. Daniels threw for three touchdowns, including two to McLaurin, and added a rushing score as the Washington Commanders snapped a three-game losing streak with a dominant 42–19 victory over the Tennessee Titans.

“I didn’t want to go into the bye week with an ‘L,’” Daniels said postgame.

With the win, Washington improved to 8-5, solidifying its playoff position ahead of a well-timed Week 14 bye.

Daniels completed 25 of 30 passes for 206 yards and three touchdowns, overcoming an early interception. He also ran for 34 yards and his sixth rushing touchdown of the year, showing poise and command over the offense that had struggled in recent weeks.

“He was able to fully express himself today — runs, keeping, creating on the move,” said head coach Dan Quinn.

McLaurin, Robinson Return to Form

Terry McLaurin had eight receptions for 73 yards and two touchdowns, becoming Daniels’ go-to target throughout the game. He was serenaded with chants of “Terry! Terry!” by fans as he dominated the Titans’ secondary.

Brian Robinson Jr., back from a sprained ankle, rushed for 103 yards and a score. Jeremy McNichols and Austin Ekeler chipped in on the ground as Washington racked up over 150 rushing yards.

Offense Rediscovers Its Identity

The Commanders jumped out to a 28-0 lead just 19 minutes into the game — their fastest such margin since 2019. They also scored 21 points in the first quarter for the first time since 2015.

Washington finished 9-of-14 on third downs, a major improvement after several weeks of inconsistency.

“We trust Kliff [Kingsbury] to put us in the best position,” McLaurin said. “But it’s on us to execute — and we did that today.”

Defense & Special Teams Contribute in Commanders Week 13 Versus Titans

Linebacker Frankie Luvu had a standout performance with multiple QB hits, a tipped pass, and a sack — giving him a career-high 8 sacks this season. Fellow linebacker Bobby Wagner added to his historic legacy by surpassing 100 tackles for the 13th straight season, joining only London Fletcher in that elite club.

The Commanders’ defense and special teams each forced a fumble, keeping pressure on rookie quarterback Will Levis, who went 18-of-37 with two touchdowns and was sacked twice.

Titans Struggle in Commanders Week 13 Versus Titans

The Titans (3-9) couldn’t replicate their surprise win from the previous week. Their offense had more penalty yards than total yards in the first half and didn’t score until late in the second quarter. The loss extinguishes any lingering playoff hopes.

“We just keep finding different ways to shoot ourselves in the foot,” said Levis.
