The Washington Football Team (6-10) head in to their Week 18 match-up with nothing to play for but pride. The same goes for their opposition – NFC East division rival New York Giants (4-12). It’s been a disappointing season for both teams.
Washington is currently on a four game slide having lost to both the Eagles and the Cowboys twice. The Giants have lost five straight.
How will the last game of 2021 go?
Head-To-Head
The two teams have met each other 179 times, including two in the post-season. Washington have won 70 of the meetings. The Giants have won 104. The other four games were ties.
The last meeting between the two was on September 16th, when WFT eked out a 30-29 victory in the second game of the season.
Last year the Giants won both games.
The last 3 games were all decided by a field goal or less.
