2007 NFL Combine Invitees

There are less than three weeks to go before the nation’s best young football players assemble at the 2007 NFL Draft Combine to showcase their talent. Prospects from around the country will gather in Indianapolis, Indiana to be tested like lab rats.

The Combine has become one of the focal points of the NFL offseason, and with every year that the draft interest grows, so does the interest in the events that will take place at the RCA dome. Each player will be poked, prodded, measured, studied, watched, taped, interviewed, drilled, and tested, in the hopes that prospective teams can guarantee their investments.

The 2007 list of Combine invitees contains over 300 NFL hopefuls descending on Iindianapolis at the end of February. It would seem that speed will dominate this year’s festivities, as wide receivers lead the way with 46 invitees, followed by the defensive backs with 29. Here is an unofficial breakdown by position of all the invitations:
