I have no idea what to think. My Redskins just held to Cowboys to 7 points. My Redskins carried a lead into the fourth quarter, against the Cowboys, at their house. I should be happy. Yet, I find myself wondering “so, what?”
The problem was, that lead consisted of 6 points. Six lousy points, on two field goals. I can’t entirely blame Zorn, this time. The patched up offensive line took another blow, with the loss for the year of yet another lineman. The second string running back, who had knocked them dead last week with a clutch performance, went down with a season ending knee injury.

You talkin’ to ME?
Oh, young Mister Henson… when you said “All you fake half hearted Skins fan can .. I won’t go there but I dislike you very strongly, don’t come to Fed Ex to boo dim wits!!” Did you really need to add “The question is who are you to say you know what’s best for the team and you work 9 to 5 at Mcdonalds”?
Ummm… Mister Henson… you are aware, are you not, that you are but a missed tackle, or two, away from joining the 9-5 crowd at Mickey D’s, are you not? Careful whom you step on while on the way up… they may be the same folks you encounter on your way back down.
Redskins Win Big for the Z-Man!
If you look at this week’s game, it wasn’t nearly as close as the score would lead you to believe. The Redskins were dominant throughout the game on both offense and defense. The weak spot this week? Special Teams.
The Redskins’ Special Teams unit accounted for 14 of New Orleans’ 24 points. Randle-El’s fumble may not have been returned for a touchdown, but it put the Saints in position to score their first touchdown. Durant Brooks should have kicked the ball out of bounds, but instead kicked a low, line-drive right to Reggie Bush (who is already known as a dangerous return man) who promptly returned it for a touchdown.
Redskins Revenue
According to a report from Forbes, the Redskins lead the National Football League in revenue. They also lead the NFL in operating income.
What Happens when the Sky Falls?
After the first game of the pre-season (well, technically the Hall of Fame game) the sky was the limit. After the last game with Carolina, many fans’ feelings have changed.
I can imagine the news coverage starting with the weather…
