The Rooney Ruse
Anybody else sick and tired of hearing about the Rooney Rule? Anybody else bored to tears with reading about the politics associated with it? I know it is ironic to ink a blog about it when I’m sick of hearing about it, but isn’t that what blogs are for?
Fellow Mayo Native Tries to Make His Presence Known in the NFL
On Monday night, the Redskins played host to the New York Giants. Obviously, as a Redskins fan it did not turn out the way I had hoped (it actually turned into a living nightmare) but one small aspect of the matchup that stood out to me was not what happened on the field, but who is involved.

Head coach Jim Zorn said Mason will be active this week. If Portis sits out, Anthony Alridge would be the team’s fourth active back, along with Betts, Mason and Rock Cartwright.
Twitter Me That
Last week I wrote a blog called Twitter Me This, that detailed three separate incidents in the NFL last week. It was of particular interest to Redskin fans, because of the involvement of rookie Robert Henson – a now retired Twitterer..er.
Twitter Me This
Twitter and the NFL shared a lot of news headlines this week. It was inevitable; things like Twitter and Facebook updates, bring the world to Joe Q. Public in almost real time. There’s good and there’s bad with that.
