It’s Week 4 of the 2022 NFL season. The Commanders will face their arch rivals – The Dallas Cowboys.
Washington is coming off an uninspired divisional loss at the hands of the red hot Philadelphia Eagles.
Another divisional loss would really put the Commanders on the outside looking in. It may only be four games into the season, but trailing in the tie breaker to two of the three teams in your division is definitely a hole that’s tougher to dig out of.
So who’s available and who’s not?
Here is a list of both teams’ inactives:
Washington Commanders Inactives
QB Sam Howell
OG Chris Paul
CB Tariq Castro Fields
TE Cole Turner
DT Daniel Wise
Dallas Cowboys Inactives
QB Dak Prescott
S Jayron Kearse
WR Jalen Tolbert
S Jayron Kearse
WR Jalen Tolbert
LB Devin Harper
OT Matt Waletzko
CB Nashon Wright
OT Matt Waletzko
CB Nashon Wright
Prescott is obviously the big one for the Cowboys. Owner Jerry Jones had originally said that Dak would only be out four weeks, but with Cooper Rush playing well, why rush things?
No surprises for the Commanders. They get William Jackson III back but after the way that Benjamin St. Juste played at cornerback in Jackson’s absence, that’s not really a big deal.
Next Week:
After Week 4, Brian Robinson Jr. and Chase Young will come off their respective lists.
Robinson will come off the Non-Injury List and surprisingly may actually be available to play.
Young can come off of the Injured Reserve list but is expected to still need a bit more time.
Both players would be welcome additions to a line-up that is currently struggling.
