THN and Confections Cupcakery have teamed up to bring you a delicious new blog, where we pick the sweetest play of the game by a Redskins player and award them the THN / Confections “Sweet Moment of the Match” award. That player can walk into Confections any time that week and pick up ALL THREE of that week’s flavors of the week. Pretty sweet all around! We will tweet the player who wins to make sure they know that they’re the winner! This week’s recipient – and winner of the Sweet Moment of the Match award – is Colt McCoy.
For the 70-yard bomb, reception, and touchdown to Pierre Garcon. In fact, Pierre is a co-winner this week because we just couldn’t decide which of the two was more worthy of the cupcakes.
McCoy hit Garcon for the touchdown on his VERY FIRST REGULAR SEASON PASS AS A REDSKIN – that’s pretty sweet. It was the longest TD pass of his career, also pretty sweet.
McCoy and Garcon can come into our location at 12801 Galveston Court in Manassas, and pick up their cupcakes of the week – which this week are Carrot, Banana Dipped and Chocolate Chip!!
