DeSean Jackson reports to Redskins park for off-season workouts

After spending last week on a vacation, which was previously planned before being released by the Philadelphia Eagles, DeSean Jackson reported to Redskins park on Monday for off-season workouts. Jackson, who signed with the Washington Redskins on April 2nd, is expected to be the game changing receiver and deep threat this upcoming season and beyond.

The workouts at Redskins Park that began last Monday, are voluntary workouts, but it’s great that Jackson is in the facility early putting in the work and meeting his new teammates. The first two weeks of off-season workouts consist of conditioning and strength training, so that means that Jackson didn’t miss any on field work.

Also with new Redskins head coach Jay Gruden on board, the players have to learn the playbook. So despite not being there for the first week of the off-season program, Jackson doesn’t have a lot of catching up to do.

Here’s a pic of Jackson working out today at Redskins Park.

Not only did he workout with his new teammates today, he also caught some passes from Robert Griffin III, which is great to hear. They are working on getting acclimated with one another, as they prepare to shed defenses with the deep ball in 2014.
