Are they allowed to practice? Or do they just watch and learn for that year? Also can only a freshman be redshirted or could you redshirt a player that has been eligble for a year? Thanks for the feedback. :o

I'm real glad he found an agent but I remain skeptical about seeing him sign before camp.

I don't see why everyone is worried. He hasnt chose an agent because he is smart and wants to get the best guy who can help work out a deal that will be good for Sean and the team. He missed part of camp with a legit excuse in my opinion. And as far as the team activities they were not mandatory ...

Mitchell was a starter a few years back and has been a solid backup ever since. He played when Trotter got hurt and held his own. Bowen playes with a lot of passion and the desire to hurt people so that is good. Friedman started a few games as a Redskin and makes a decent backup.

I think Gambit ...

Buges was probably teaching them about the opposition... and used "dirtbags" to describe the opposition or described how they needed to fight with any means necessary.... and if they had to be dirtbags then they had to be dirtbags.... and then the guys probably thought it was catchy and it stuck ...

I say Bowen, but I'm sure Williams will use them both in key situations. As for who is better, its a tough question to truely answer. One of them may emerge this year a the "true" starter even after Gibbs and Williams decide whomever it will be at the beginning of the season. Heck, maybe neither ...

Griffin will be the reason Washington, Barrow, and Taylor all look so great. Griffin won't get the recognition but he will be the one who makes the good things happen.

I don't think Barrow will make as many stops as he usually does because here in DC he has 2 great line backers to line up with ...

True, but Gardner is more talented and should get more opportunities this year with the pressure off the QB. But if he doesn't contribute we should defenitely trade for a DL.

Just imagine how good our starter (Pat or Mark)will look with Portis taking the ball from him, and the "dirtbags" infront of him, and Coles and Gardner running down the field.

Jacobs was injured all last year but looked good in preseason. He is back at 100% now and should be competative. He has good size and speed. He just needs a chance to play.

McCants is very effective near the goal line and should be brought in for those situations. But Jacobs would be better in ...

Who should be the #3 reciever?

I would like to see Taylor Jacobs in there as the #3. Thrash has experience but Jacobs can be much better and needs to develope this year.
