ESPN Football Ratings of the Skins
The only problem is the Defense i think we have everything on offense. In ESPN football they rate our defence as a 76/99. At first i thought they were smocking something the only prob is the line. On offense they rate us as a 86/99 is it just me who thinks were underated.

Yeah, I agree with you about the ratings. Looks like no one believes in JGibbs and our team roster. But watch out! We're coming and we're not stoppin!
I'm shocked that we're rated that high. If we were rated off of last seasons performance than we'd be in the 70's. I think the offense was given a generous rating being that they have not played a down yet. If they rated every team off of potential than every team would be in the 90's.

We have stars on our team that need coaching. Madden is based on potential and the player rating has something to do with team overall rating. Our defense on should be low because the DT overall rating has more to do with Defense as opposed to RB is to the offense

On the offensive side of the ball we should be ranked low. Who were bright spots last year on offense? Ramsey, McCants and Coles. The line got shafted because of the scheme. The backs were pretty much non-existant. The TE's couldn't catch a clue. So if they based our offense off of last year then we should be ranked worse than what we got IMO. I dont know if you update your rosters but the Skins ranking got lower as the season progressed on offense. I think that they gave us a little love because Gibbs is here and someone at ESPN sense enough to realize that the team will be good offensively this year.

This year in Madden we are 90 and yes I do upgrade my roster and we got better. The moved coles' speed from 97 to 99 and they moved Rock from the low 60s to the mid 70s. Our defense is (and I am looking at it now) is 84OVR amd our Defense is 84OVR.
Our O-line got better and they saw what we see. They saw it was coaching. "If its in the game, its in the Game."
Lets take a look at what was released at "E3" this year.:
TEAM OVR OFF DEF
49ers 67 69 70
Bears 77 77 79
Bengals 84 86 79
Bills 82 80 94
Broncos 88 87 90
Browns 75 81 73
Buccs 83 82 85
Cardinals 71 75 70
Chargers 70 81 68
Chiefs 90 97 76
Colts 91 98 77
Cowboys 84 76 95
Dolphins 83 79 93
Eagles 92 90 90
Falcons 80 84 69
Giants 79 78 80
Jags 77 80 76
Jets 74 80 71
Lions 76 82 78
Packers 89 90 83
Panthers 94 85 99
Patriots 98 90 99
Raiders 72 70 83
Rams 86 92 75
Ravens 88 80 96
Redskins 88 90 84
Saints 80 82 74
Seahawks 88 90 88
Steelers 80 81 83
Texans 76 81 70
Titans 92 89 86
Vikings 81 90 82
Thats all I am tring to say. Madden is based on everything from potential to depth.
I love madden and I dominate in quizes to teaching its ways to playing online. You chose, you choose.
Example: San Francisco did better than us, why arent they ranked higher?
I know because the "players" left and hence their team rating.

I wouldnt trust the ESPN ratings at all. I actually was looking at the other day and it made me physically mad. Many players on our team are underrated, and while I do not recall, it has Coles listes as slower than TO, which is not the case. (it also as deuce mccalaster as a 99 while it has jamal lewis as a 96, go figure). But whats really bad is they bsically took steve spurriers offence and threw in the counter trey. It actually lists Gibbs play break down as 60% pass and 40% run!!!
