Vikings Working On A Deal With LB Jeremiah Trotter

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Vikings Working On A Deal With LB Jeremiah Trotter

Post by 1niksder »

The Minnesota Vikings are reportedly working on a deal with free agent linebacker Jeremiah Trotter. Minnesota has a strong need at the MLB position with Greg Biekert retiring, releasing Henri Crockett and the off season legal troubles with projected starter EJ Henderson as well as his off season knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus that is not healing properly. Trotter who led the Redskins last year in tackles with 90, would like to sign with a team by the end of next week and Minnesota has the cap room to sign Trotter because they are approximately $10 million under the cap.

Sounds like the Vikes have been having some off the field problems with their backers also.

You all should know some of the utter crap Viking fans are spewing... They're saying how they're filthy rich in cap and will sign Trotter and Gildon...

I think the Vikes will need him...some of our LBs may be in jail. This whole thing with these guys getting DUIs and in bar fights is very embarassing for us Viking fans. Coach Tice needs to start kicking some nuts and getting these troublemakers straightened out..we are becoming the Baltimore Ravens of the NFC.

Ummmm? How is that? Are you reffering to R. Lewis's incident?

No, I was just referring to the fact that it seems like they are known for being in trouble.
