Right now, we're keeping company with San Francisco at 2-3, last place NFC East.

Nothing good about that.

I could not agree more, but the 49ers at least have an excuse though.

Even with giving up 120+ to Tiki Barber, the Skins are giving up 3.5 yards per carry this year.

That's damn good. The run is being stuffed.

I would probably say respectable, but not damn good and definitely not stuffing the run game (i.e. Giants in week 4). Right the now the skins run defense ...

Fred Smoot? Gimme a break. How can you say that? That kind of bothers me because this guy is way better than Kenny Wright, Carlos Rogers, or Mike Rumph. What about Walt Harris?..they should have never released him.

Fact is that when Pierce left, the Redskins had no choice but to practice some ...

Harris I can't agree with...he was, basically, Kenny Wright last year.

I don't think you can even really compare the two (Wiright & Harris). I am a Niners fan primarily, but the Skins are my second team. You have to admit that Walt Harris is doing a pretty good job for the Niners this season ...

Duckett was in street clothes yesterday. It's reported on the Skins website.

Trading a 3rd rounder for him seems a bit extreme right now. But it didn't six weeks ago. And it may not six weeks from now.

Personally, I'd rather have the 3rd next year, but I also understand that once the season is ...

Re: the skins are back

Have you checked out any of his posts, or are you just making an arbitrary statement?

Since I can't post most of what he's posted on this board in the PG forums, I invite you to just check out some of the great wisdom he's shared with us so far in smack.

Not hard to get a 'pass' from me, but when ...

Portis is a beast. The O Line looked a lot better, and Mario Williams should put the word BUST on the back of his jersey..he doesnt even look like he knows where the ball is in the games....what the heck were the Texans thinking by drafting that clown.

They weren't thinking. That's why they are ...

Not to mention, it took until week 12 or 13 last season for Gregg Williams to "unleash" Phillip Daniels, which immediately resulted in 5 sacks in two weeks or something ridiculous like that.

I think those sacks had a lot more to do with Daniels lining up across from Rob Petitti than it did Gregg ...

I guess the question that maybe should have been asked is, "do we overpay for players that once they got the money so-to-speak, shut it down?"

Someone on the radio bought up an interesting stat about our last 4-5-6 years. During that time, we have signed 21 guys that made the Pro Bowl before they ...

Brunell has not looked sharp but let's not skip the point that the offensive line has not been getting the job done. I don't want to see JC thrown in just to be mauled.

Why not, Brunell is getting mauled...what's the difference? Give the ball to someone who will take risks and throw the ball ...

Heck, even Alex Smith, in only his second year on the sorry-@$$ Niners has managed to win a game, get more yards, toss more TDs, and get a higher passer rating than Brunell, and he did it with WRs inferior to what Brunell has here. Now do you want to argue Alex Smith's got a better O-line too ...

Count me in, I think that the Skins are one of the upper echelon teams in the NFL this year and are strong enough to get to the SB. I'm usually not a betting man, but I would put money on some games this year.
