No way is Portis the same back as he was when he was 20.

I remember the second year he was here. He purposely gained twenty pounds knowing the kind of system that is run in Washington. He adapted to the system in Washington.

He has given his all for the Redskins. I doubt he can run sixty ...

Redskins.com does as well ... also, DiRTyHoG3026, doesn't your sig make the question a moot one?

Lol, that sig is like 3 years old, I just threw it in there without really caring and I barely ever post here so I never got around to changing it.

Portis-How much weight did he gain?

I was watching the game and I noticed how much he has gained over the off season. Last year he came into training camp at almost the same size as his denver days and looked very explosive in the limited playing time he got during the season. Now he looks like he's heavier than he was in 2005. He did ...

Boldin did run a 4.7 at his pro day, but that was just a month after having surgery on his leg. He ran a 4.4 at fsu. I just hate when people point to him as a reason why a slow guy can succeed when he was never slow, he just wasn't 100% for his 40.

With that said, I think Jarrett could definately ...

Those are interesting 40 times and all, but WR seems almost as bad as QB for the odds the kid will be a bust - look at Braylon Edwards (may come on later, has had injury issues), Mike Williams, Roy Williams, Charlie Roger, Matt Jones, Kelley Washington, and on and on and on . . . Some of those guys ...

From what I've seen tonight out of Brunell, How could JC be any worse. Hell, as long as he'd at least take a shot down the field, I would be delighted to see him play.

Me either.

I remember when he was in college he got laid out by greg jones. It was pretty bad, he put his head down, then all of the sudden you just see his head bounce backwards and he just fell right on his back.

It's pretty awesome that the skins got the 3 best backs from the 2002 draft all on the same team. I love Betts but I could definately see him being traded soon for o'line depth. Either way, awesome trade for the skins. :celebrate:

I'm glad that we got Randal El and Lloyd but we now have 4 wr's (moss, randal el, lloyd, patten) that basically do the exact same thing. We needed to add a red zone threat and we haven't done that yet. I can't really imagine us signing anymore receivers so I don't see how this is going to help us ...

Ken wizzunhunt(sp?) loves randle el way too much. I watch all of the steelers games and he does at least two or three trick plays per game with him. Plus, I think he's gonna try to stay with pittsburgh, even if he gets less money. Why would he leave a situation where he's a lock for the playoffs and ...

I'm pretty confident the steelers will take this game. But I have this strange feeling that seattle could go in there very pumped up and shock the steelers, especially in the first half. Steelers up 24-3 at half, and we get the ball back to start the 2nd half. I just hope cowher doesn't get conservative because if we keep attacking we could end the game if we score a touchdown on the first drive of the second half.

What surprised me most about the game was that people were saying that Bush had a bad game, but he still had like 200 total yards. Even his worst games are still pretty good(except for the idiotic lateral he tried to pull off)
