So far, certainly a good indication of a team beating up on a couple of super "star" players. A good team is always going to beat a "star" player.
Actually this might encourage Houston to test the trade market to see what they could get for Reggie Bush.

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Vince Young is a MAN!
Did anybody see the title game? Holy cow! can this kid play, he broke tackles like it was nothin! 31/40 passing for 269 yards. 20/199 rushing and 3 TDs with a long of 45 against a speedy Trojan defense.
We're gonna hear this guys name alot soon. If he decides to go to the draft this year there's a good possibillity that he'll be picked before Leinhardt (however you spell his name).

WOW. That was one of the best games I have seen in a long time.
I've said all along that I thought Texas would win because they had the better defense, but man, what a game.
As for Bush, he was non-existent except for a few plays.
Wow.

I remeber a thread about Bush from before and even then I wondered just how hot he'd be. Im not suprised that he got shutdown because you have to have GOOD blocking. If this kid goes to a horrible team that can't block he's going to be wasted. If he could somehow make it to Denver...he could really do it up like he has in college. He's a heck of a back but seriosuly over hyped.

I was leaning toward USC (not a collage ball type until it's pre-draft), but then everytime I turned on ESPN they were talking about how great they are or how the would have made out against some of the great teams of the past. It got so tiresome I couldn't wait for Texas to beat them down.
Watching this game tonight and Penn/FSU last night, I might have to get back into the NCAA
I agree

Agreed. (you and redskin1)
I've been saying how overrated USC is and Bush.
HE HAS BEEN PLAYING THE PAC-10!!!!
He is a great athlete, but when he is playing for the Texans he is going to suck.
I don't think Bush got shut down, it's just that USC didn't give him any chances to make a play.
Bush had 13 carries to LenDale's 21. When you need a play, like a 4th and 2 for the game, you give it Reggie Bush, no matter what.
But I've got to give it to Vince Young and the Texas defense. I mean, Vince Young is a baller. Now I know it's only college guys, but I think he will be much better than Vick.
And yes, that was a great game.

AirHog I know you are a USC fan so thanks for giving props when they are due.(not a Texas fan)
(UH and VT, and I guess UV) Fan I am
But I've been saying the PAC-10 sucks( pretty much on D)
so of course Bush is going to look good.
Bush is a top-5 pick but nothing special in my opinion

This game was fantastic.Vince Youngs performance was the best from a football player ever on all levels. Texas defense struggled to stop Uscs but came up with a few big stops when it counted. As far as offense goes Vince took the team on his back and carried this team. Man what a special performance beautiful. If hes going to the Nfl I am sure hes going number one two or three.
Sean Taylor starting free safety Heavens team!

USC defense looked like a bunch of chumps, nobody seemed to want to hit the snot out of Vince Young. I watched the highlights and whenever he got within 5 yards on the endzone the USC defenders gave up. Maybe its just me but when I play/ed I try to hit the ball carrier regardless.
