For a team coached by Joe Gibbs, his players seem to be getting into an awful lot of trouble (or potential trouble).

Maybe y'all need a lockdown or something for your players. It could be worse, though. You could be Bucs fans, like me, where your team goes and signs every player who gets released ...

Spurrier is in NO position to compare his portfolio to that of any NFL personnel, player or otherwise. To me, he's just made as big a fool of himself as he did during his two year debacle with the Skins.

Has Theismann ever coached at the college or NFL level? If not, then maybe he shouldn't be ...

It might have been funnier, instead of crashing a motorbike, if you had pulled a Kalimba Edwards (or even a Randy Moss) by turning a routine traffic stop into a felony because you have no self-control or decision-making ability.

I was at Chavez's first game with the Phillies, Sunday afternoon, against the Reds. Most people didn't know who he was or much of anything about him, but he played very well, and he made a lot of new fans. He was very impressive with the triple he hit. I was telling everyone around me when they ...

This is... an interesting thread. Blaming Bush for things outside of his control is a popular pasttime amongst many people. It appears to me that this particular one comes from the far-right, not the left.

Yep. The Yankees have a lot more problems on their hands than whether Rivera's lost his cutter. Location, movement, whatever. Doesn't really matter.

They've got trash in Kevin Brown. They've got a ruined outfield now because Womack just flat out is a second baseman and probably shouldn't be ...

Like the Postons care anything about their clients. Gimme a break.

I feel bad for Winslow for one reason. Accidents do happen when you try something new. He was trying to learn how to ride a motorcycle, and an accident happened. He ended up getting very hurt, and it's going to jeopardize his ...

Stay strong. These agents need to be shown for what they are. Have you noticed that the Postons don't really get to push teams around anymore after the teams simply decided they weren't going to deal with them?

Well, Rosenhaus may have a lot of clients, but that doesn't mean anything. All his ...

I wouldn't be opposed to maybe picking him up and trying him out at MLB. I wonder, where is McCune going to play if he makes the team (and I imagine he will)?

I would be surprised, though, if Green Bay isn't all over Hardy. Then again, Green Bay surprises me a lot.

Okay, if you say so. I watched him lose it and get smacked around because of it. But I'm not in market, I don't watch a lot of Yankees games, so if he's got it back, then my mistake. But he did lose it. I saw it with my own two eyes.

Rivera lost his cutter this year. Okay, so if the Angels win a few championships and get a bunch of 100-win seasons, that's all fine and well. But just remember - eventually he's going to lose his slider! 8)

Well Sledge is hurt now, Grade 2 hamstring pull/strain/injury whatever you want to call it. Church is the everyday LF again, and apparently Cepicky is probably going to be called up. I think that's a bad idea. I wouldn't call up Cepicky. I would just start practicing Blanco in LF, since I personally ...

The Nats need to trade Terrmel Sledge and get a good left-handed reliever. They need to do this ASAP. Church appears to be the regular LF on this team, and Davis plays against lefties because, while he can't do much else, he does kill the ball off southpaws. In fact, I wouldn't be opposed to trying ...

Theoretically, if he is one of the top five players that will come out of this draft, then he ought to have been picked in the top 5.

The fact that Washington got him at 24 is not a ransom, by this logic. In fact, it's highway robbery.
