The Giants used the 3 DE set on 3rd downs with great effectiveness. They would lineup Strahan and Osi on the outside and insert Tuck as a DT.

Tuck was definitely a integral part of the Giants league leading 53 sack defense.

disturbing question i keep asking myself: why is it when the offense walks up to the line of scrimmage we always have only 8 to 5 seconds left on the playclock?

we finally won one last year against the 'boys. uhhh...let's keep it up. and despite the offense's dismal performance, the fact that we were in the game at all (even until the very last 18 seconds of the game) was, believe or not, encouraging to me.

i've got to go with ramsey. though i like brunell's mobility, his arm is never going to stretch defenses. hell, we all saw the same game - the safeties kept creeping up to the line of scrimmage. despite ramsey's 3 ints i found that the skins had a much better offensive rhythm than in the 6 ...
