i find this kind of funny. i read that the skins offered dockery a 10m bonus, same as the other o linemen and when he goes somewhere else for more money the skins are a classless organization for letting their own go. but when new england does this (and on a pretty regular basis) they are one of the ...

so what your saying is because we resigned betts? that everythings good with the team? the argument im trying to make is we need to relax on trading away draft picks and bringing in aging players for 2 or 3 years of service and resigning cooley doesnt prove anything.. thats great that we 'talked ...

i doubt that davis will be here. it is pretty much known that he wants to go home to texas and will probably sign with the cowboys. he is just using washington and new york to get jerry jones into a bidding war and drive his price up.

ok guys reread my post!!!!!! i said lets not turn this into a we need calvin johnson thread!!!!!! hence the tongue in cheek last sentence with a smiley to emphsize that i was joking. i realize that we need to get a defensive lineman in the draft. that is why i said that i was happy if this was true ...

speculation about the lions pick

i cant remember where i saw it but i saw an article saying that the running back for the lions is going to miss half the season with the foot injury from last season. there is speculation now that they may be looking at taking a running back with the second pick. please dont make this into a calvin ...

we dont NEED to have lavar back because of our present situation at olb (both rocky and marcus) BUT... i would not be against everyone getting together, clearing the air, and signing lavar to a vet minimum, incentive based contract. that way he will be motivated to get himself back to his former ...

There are 2 highly coveted. Jamarcus Russell and Brady Quinn. I am sure one of these Qbs will be available at number six. I really dont think Chicago is shopping for a replacement. Maybe a backup QB. Lovie Smith is a loyal guy and I dont see him negotiating to aquire a high pick for a Qb. The ...

jamaal anderson over gaines adams and im starting to agree wit the poster who said okoye. they are both younger and can easily add muscle on an nfl training program. i think that we will actually be in pretty good shape if one or both is on the board at 6. if he is still there we can take anderson ...

getting back to my original thought, i think that chicago would have to offer me at least 3 picks to get me to trade out of the #6 spot. they would have to be higher picks because if we went that low we would be guaranteed of losing out on the superstars that everyone is drooling over now.

you know another idea for them would be to draft a qb this year and then try to trade for brett farve. it makes sense for everyone involved. the bears would get a proven qb, albeit an old one that is almost done, but he would be in an offense that can basically run itself. the packers need help ...

could chicago trade up?

hey everyone... first post :celebrate:

im not saying its going to happen but i had a thought after watching rex grossman tonite. could the bears try to trade up to acquire a top 10 pick to try to snag a qb? if they were to try what do you guys think that we could get from them? :feedback;
