For you to say "get over it" shows a real lack of sensitivity to minorities and the oppression they've faced over the last 400 years. Until you understand the Native American experience, or that of any minority, for that matter, you can't possibly understand the pain and hatred certain terms evoke ...

I know I'm in the minority here -- no pun intended -- but "Redskins" is a racially offensive term. I was watching "Gunsmoke" a couple of days ago and a character in the in the episode said that he wasn't "gonna take no orders from some dirty Redskin." It doesn't matter if the name "wasn't intended ...

Since it appears that we won't get McQuarters, maybe we should give Bobby Taylor a shot. Hmmm? I'd pass on Robinson. I've had enough with immature head-cases.

That is pretty odd...I know that I have heard the O during national anthems for football, baseball, soccer, NASCAR, etc. on TV. And I have seen it take place in parts of the country that are far away from B-more. Interesting to know that B-more started it all! Thanks for the info!

Those are the ...

I always say "O!" during the "Oh say does that Star Spangled Banner" part.

I think it lightens the mood during the anthem.

I always take my hat off during the singing, though, and I clap for a good performance. The anthem gets me pretty pumped up for games and it sort of unifies home and away ...

The Wave -- A How-To

As big of a Redskins fan as I am, it REALLY burns me when the FedEx Faithful do the wave drill when the offense is on the field. Okay, folks. The wave is designed to confuse/distract the offense with its random shots in unpredictable places. But, the obviously badly misinformed fans in Landover seem ...

I can't tell you how happy I am to see that I'm not the only one who feels this way. My dad fought in Korea and he taught me to respect those colors and that anthem. Keep it up, folks. And remind people what that anthem means!

The National Anthem!

I'm not sure if this has been covered before, but what can we do to keep people from screaming, "Ohhhhhhh!!!!!!" during the national anthem. First of all, it's VERY disrespectful. Secondly, it's small-town and we're a big city. AND, it's too frickin' Baltimore! Folks, please don't do that! :explode:

The problem with Gardner, is that he made his desire to leave public, and Gibbs has made public comments about him not being back. We basically gave away our bargaining power. Teams interested in Gardner are sure he will be released sometime after June 1 so no one will trade with us.

Our last ...

I dont want him to completely change his system....it is the system that won him 3 superbowls

But, the defenses were much different then. They're much faster and can disguise themselves in a number of packages. Personally, I HATE the shotgun because too much can go wrong with it -- most notably ...

Well and good. But, it still doesn't excuse Moss and Taylor skipping the camp while ALL of their teammates are participating. What, they're too good for it all. Gibbs already has expressed disappointment, then Portis comes out and says, "you're not missing anything." That's ridiculous! I guess Moss ...
