That is pretty odd...I know that I have heard the O during national anthems for football, baseball, soccer, NASCAR, etc. on TV. And I have seen it take place in parts of the country that are far away from B-more. Interesting to know that B-more started it all! Thanks for the info!

I think it lightens the mood during the anthem.

I can't tell you how happy I am to see that I'm not the only one who feels this way. My dad fought in Korea and he taught me to respect those colors and that anthem. Keep it up, folks. And remind people what that anthem means!

I'm not sure if this has been covered before, but what can we do to keep people from screaming, "Ohhhhhhh!!!!!!" during the national anthem. First of all, it's VERY disrespectful. Secondly, it's small-town and we're a big city. AND, it's too frickin' Baltimore! Folks, please don't do that!

The problem with Gardner, is that he made his desire to leave public, and Gibbs has made public comments about him not being back. We basically gave away our bargaining power. Teams interested in Gardner are sure he will be released sometime after June 1 so no one will trade with us.
