Koren Robinson/Bobby Taylor released....
I just saw on the bottom line of ESPN that both Conerback Bobby Taylor and WR Koren Robinson were let go today by the Seahawks...I think that we are probably done with signings, but back in March the Seahawks were interested in Rod Gardener...why don't we let Rod go to Seattle and pick up Koren or Bobby....I know that Koren is a alcoholic, but who wouldnt be living in dreary Seattle......what do ya'll think

Koren Robinson would be an intriguing pickup...at a minimum salary with no bonus. If he can fight his way to a roster spot in camp, great. If not, adios amigo.
About your second comment: I'm from DC and spent 30 years in MD, VA, or DC itself. I currently live in Seattle. There's simply no comparison in quality of life. Right now, it's 70 degrees and sunny, with a bit of a breeze. It never becomes humid in the summer, and snow is rare in the winter. It does rain frequently in the winter, but usually it's a drizzle for part of the day only. The climate is very mild.....not to mention the natural beauty of the Cascade and Olympic Ranges, Lake Washington, and Puget Sound. I wouldn't live on the East Coast again for anything.

I've been to Seattle, and it is a nice place. There are definately a lot of great things to do out there, and Pike Place is a lot of fun. But with a yearly average of 158 days of measurable rainfall, and 226 cloudy days, that means your average amount of sunny days every year is around 38% - or only 2.6 sunny days every week. Sorry, too depressing for me!
Koren Robinson is way overated. Yet I'm still surprised he got dropped. Maybe we can make a deal with Seatlle for Rod and like a 4th or 5th rounder.
And I hope we don't sign either of these guys. Koren Robinson is totally overated, and Bobby Taylor is too old with bad knees, kind of like Mike Barrow.

Seahawks cut troubled Robinson, Taylor
NFL.com wire reports
KIRKLAND, Wash. (June 2, 2005) -- Troubled wide receiver Koren Robinson, who was suspended for off-field problems last season and faces new problems currently, was released by the Seattle Seahawks.
The team also released veteran cornerback Bobby Taylor, signed as a free agent last season after starring with Philadelphia. Taylor was troubled by injuries for much of last year
Last season, Robinson served a four-game league suspension. In January, coach Mike Holmgren benched him for skipping practice one day before an important game against Atlanta.
Robinson was the ninth overall pick in the 2001 draft. His best season was 2002, when he had 78 receptions for 1,240 yards, the only Seattle receiver other than Hall of Famer Steve Largent to record a 1,200-yard season.
The team did not mention Robinson's legal problems in a statement announcing his release. A day earlier, the team said it was "extremely disappointed and concerned with Koren's situation."
June 2 is the first day teams can release players and defer any salary cap penalty until next season.

I don't think there's a chance Joe is even think about this guy. One thing we already have a ton of WRs and another, look at his history. Clearly does not seem to be a good JGibbs' guy. Taylor? Ummm.....I don't really know....We are talking with RW so ... we'll see. Probably not though.
What do you think?
"I was on the sideline and guys were talking about the score, and then it hit me -- we won by 21. I came in the locker room and I yelled it out, and immediately I just kind of broke down in tears. Because I miss Sean, you know."

I saw Robinson play against Maryland a few years ago. He was a tremendous college receiver. He made amazing catches even when he wasn’t really open. I thought he would be a really good NFL receiver when he was drafted.
Too bad he’s screwing up all that talent.
Here is my opinion of Rod Gardner. I think he came out the same year as Robinson. Robinson clearly had better talent. I don’t know what people expected from Rod but he has never done anything to disgrace the Redskin uniform other than not catching passes he should have caught. He hasn’t lived up to OUR expectations, he wants to move on. In the media he has been quiet as a church mouse. The Redskins should do what is right for Rod whether it is to move on or keep him around.
Go Skins!!!
I was reading in the paper today about this dwarf that got pick pocketed. How could anyone stoop so low?

My initial feelings say don't sign him...
Then I think that new surroundings can have profound effects on a player. He can be a stud sometimes...but we have that same "sometimes" in Gardener.
If we can sign him for the min. then I'd think about it.

oh yah, he is working miracles with Sean Taylor.
Last time I checked Taylor is neither a drug abuser or acoholic.
Gibbs has EVERY player in camp except for Taylor. I'd say that he's doing a great job? So your comment is moot.

Nope. Didn't Raphael Cherry murder his wife or something?
