Does anyone here think that the Skins regressed this season? I don't think so. There is no way the Skins got worse as a team. We were 6-10 last season and of the 10 games we lost 6 of them were decided by less than a TD. I think this team has without a doubt progressed and to think the Skins will ...

I'd like to think this is a product of a better reciever corps, not a knock on AA... I still don't think our passing game, or offense in general has any of this year's opponents nervous... we're just going to have to be a team that keeps moving the chains and stays away from the dreaded 3-and-out...

I still think Orakpo would have been way way better as a full-time DE in a 4-3 than he is in this defense... He had, I think, 11 sacks his rookie year and all came from the DE position... he had almost no impact plays from the linebacker position and went to the probowl as linebacker... go figure ...

I didn't bring up the bench press because it has a direct correlation to his play on the field. I just brought it up because it's a red flag, and a measureable used to seperate players of perceived equal value. If you evaluate a few guys equally on film, one of the tools you use to seperate them are ...

There were 57 D-linemen that participated in the NFL combine. There was only one guy (who weighs 50 lbs. less than Jenkins) that did worse than him in the bench press. I'll be the first to admit that doesn't always mean a lot, but for a 310 pound guy that's supposed to hold the end in a 3-4 defense ...

You could pick about any QB or WR we've drafted since 2000...

Look at these names and tell me how much production we got out of our "skill position" picks... compare this list with any other team in our division...

QB; Todd Husak, Sage Rosenfels, Patrick Ramsey, Gibran Hamdan, Jason Campbell ...

There just isn't a top 10 offensive lineman in this draft... There's probably a couple if we move down 5-10 spots, but if we pick at 10 it's got to be a playmaker at WR (Jones, Green), QB (Newton, Gabbert, I like Mallet but not at 10), CB(Peterson, Amukamara), or OLB (Miller, Quinn). By the way, if ...

I've watched Atogwe here in StL for years. I like this deal as much as I disliked the Adam Archuleta deal. Atogwe is a solid guy all the way around. He's not a freak athelete like ST or anything, but he's very good on the field, in the locker room, and in the community. Even if Kareem Moore comes ...

Actually I guess in the end it only matters if we got better in comparison to the rest of the league... We were probably better than 4 or 5 teams last year, and that's about the same as this year in my opinion...

I guess what's disappointing is when I look at the teams that had worse records than us last year... Detroit, Tampa, and St Louis... all 3 of them are decidedly better this year (12 more wins so far between them-should be 13 with the week 1 Lions' rob job)... all 3 of them beat us this year... and ...

Is this team really better than last year?

I know we've been unlucky in a couple games, but if you just look at our 5 victories this year and how close they all were to losses, it makes me wonder if we're really any better than last year... earlier this year a lot of us thought so...

Obviously the first Dallas game, they did some bonehead ...

I know the sentiment on the board here is to continually cut kickers if they have a rough couple games. I, for one (and I may be the only one), would like to see them stick with Gano and give him a couple years. He's a youngster, he's got a fairly strong leg, decent kickoffs, and decent accuracy ...

I'm not saying it's justified with regards to Cooley. He's had the ball come out a couple times, but not a lot. He just always seems to attract a crowd and fights for extra yards, and he's not the type to cover the ball up with two hands in those situations...

The fumble in the first quarter against the Rams returned for a touchdown was painful, and led to them jumping all over us early... the drop and subsequent INT against the Vikings I think only resulted in 3, but it was a big 3... I think the real question is, does Shanny think he was that wrong about Haslett, or does he think they have not yet transitioned enough personnel to run the defense that both he and Haslett decided to run? I would think the latter is more likely the case. He's known Haslett for quite a while. I ...

Hey this team should probably be 0-9. Dallas, Green Bay, and Chicago all found ways to give us games they should've won (also thanks to a couple nice defensive touchdowns by D Hall). I don't want to apologize for McNabb because he certainly owns his part in those 3rd downs and INTs, but could somebody help a brother out once in a while? How about we pick up a blitz one time?
