Jay won't go back to running the offense himself, he said that was a mistake last time he did it.
I think the easy and good answer is Bill Callahan. In house guy with tons of respect and a real hard ass.

Sean McVay to Rams. Who do we replace with?
Hot off the presses, McVay is the youngest head coach in NFL history, wish him the best if luck.
Now the bignorant question is who did we get?

How good or bad was this season
It's sad to see the season over. We finished half a game under what we did last year. There are a ton of things you can point to in the individual games as to why each was lost.
When you look at the season as a whole though... we honestly did a lot better than we should have, and that is almost all ...

Re: WRs Next Year
Really it's up to their agents. If they are willing to resign for2 years at a lower price then we pay them now... sure.
My hunch is DeSeans price will run up though to a writer needy team that has a decent qb... Pierre will get overlooked.
If I HAD to pick one, I'm going Pierre. His attitude is ...

Bum... i'm calling it what it is, he's a bum.
I have no more patience with anyone on that defense, we need talent.
When players get worse over time, it may not be talent... he's shown in the past he has the physical tools, he just isn't using it anymore, he is getting destroyed mentally. I don ...

Breelands regression
Breeland more and more lately has looked terrible. Today was embarrassing for him really. 2 years ago he looked like he could be a future breakout star...
I'm wondering how much of this is Joe Barry, because Breeland and others often just look lost... I think after this year, Barry has to go...

Re: Cousin's pass attempts
I would imagine it's a correlation. Fall behind in games you pass more, I'm sure if you look at stats for those high pass attempt games his passers-by rating is probably pretty good, also I'm sure most of them were a loss because of defensive player. Just a hunch

Re: The road to the playoffs and beyond
The thing with the vikings is we are 1 game up on them. They should minimum lose to the Cowboys, which means we can lose 2 and still be ahead of them, and I'd say between the Colts, bears, and Packers they will drop 1 of those.

Re: The road to the playoffs and beyond
Not at all. The Giants are almost a lock for the #5 wildcard spot. Really it's between Tampa, Minnesota and Arizona. All of their schedules are harder than ours, and we are up on all of them at this time. Philly I'm taking out of it because of their schedule, nothing against their team... I think ...

I heard they have a shade installed that can go over it. Jerry just "decided" to not use it this game... not sureven if there is any truth in it, but it's jerry so I'm willing to believe it.

Re: Cousins Is The Best Redskin In Decades
We don't really have a fade receiver. Jordan physically is the closest thing... but that's not his game. Josh Doctson will be that guy since his the tall, big vertical jump, hands guy, but a fade takes practice and trust, so that will be a work in progress.

Re: Cousins Is The Best Redskin In Decades
Cousins is easily the best QB I've ever seen put on a Redskin uniform including Sonny who never had to carry such a huge load on a severely unbalanced team like Cousins in 2015 and 2016 .

I would edit what you said to kirk is becoming arguably the best redskin in decades. I'm 32 and really didn't become a team follower until around 18 to 20.you could say he already as of now is arguably the best player the team has seen in my time watching, up there with santana and Portis who I ...

The road to the playoffs and beyond
Now the team may need to take this 1 game at a time, but that doesn't mean we have to.
Our upcoming games are... cardinals, eagles, panthers, bears, and giants. Now anything can happen, but the general consensus out there is 9-6-1 gets us in the 6th wildcard spot. So we gotta win 3 of the next 5 ...

end of game - another game we clearly should have won

Not to mention Moses was already hobbled and gets no recovery time.
That one is my biggest concern.
I liked how they used Cravens on Sunday night to spy on Rodgers. Expect we'll see some of that Thursday as well.

Re: Washington @ Dallas Pre-Game
To beat Dallas we have to get after Dak. Murphy, Kerrigan, and Smith will be huge, as will bakers play. I agree, stack the box don't let Zeek beat us, and get after Dak don't let him sit back there aND get comfortable.

I wouldn't go this far yet... but I would say we should use him more. Trent plays banged up a lot, and nsekhe has proven that doesn't need to happen. I'll take a 100% Trent over nsekhe, but a 90% Trent I think can rest a game and let nsekhe take over.
Also with Moses, he's pretty banged up right ...

Yeah I saw, man has some guts, rightfully so after that game, getting hype with Mccloughan like that.
I know Snyder likes him now, as was evident by his corny dancing in the booth at the end of the game lol

Just hand kirk a blank check...
I'm exaggerating of course, but that Green Bay game... I'm not even talking about the poor coverage from their beat up secondary.

Re: Here comes the cousins talk.
I actually believe with Mccloughan continuing to build the team the way he has, Gruden and coaching in general improving at the rate it has been, it is possible we become super bowl contenders.
