Personally, I don't want Moss on the Redskins. If Gibbs wanted him on the team, then I want him on the team.
That being said, before we even THINK about getting him, Joe Gibbs would first have to consult with Patrick Ramsey. A Wide Receiver is only as good as the dude throwing him the ball. A chemistry must be developed. We would have to see if Ramsey and Moss could gel.

Sit back and watch the Redskins.

i know that the chances of the skins getting mos are slim, it's fun to debate this topic. we all love the skins and if they did get him and he help the redskins win it all he would be a god. if he made things worse we would hate him. it's a crap shoot.
May #21 never be worn again by another Redskin but may every Redskin play like they are wearing #21 on their backs.

I don't want Randy because there are other options out there. Randy could be a cancer in our lockeroom. Coach Gibbs has spent his first year cutting the cancer in our lockeroom and building up the team with "core redskins".
Randy could very well not be a cancer in the locker room. Gibbs could sqaure him away. Some of you that want Randy are thinking that Gibbs will square him away. Personally, I don't know why you would want to take that chance when you have other wide recievers you can get, who definetly won't be a cancer in the locker room.

We have other options at WR - we just need to get him on the field....and if Coles gets "well" and we get rid of Gardner and use Thrash and Jacobs...I think we're okay. No..they may not be Randy Moss...but they can be good (maybe even great - given the chance) without all the BS that goes with Moss (or TO for that matter)
Hip Hip Hooray!!!

Im 25 and I would take Moss on my team. He is better than Coles, Gardner, Thrash, Jacobs and McCants. He would make our team much better....thats assuming he plays like he has so far.
Gardner needs to go he is not consistant, I like Thrash and Jacobs isnt costing us much plus he's good on special teams. Coles is awesome and would be even more so if Moss was on the other side of him. I also think we should get rid of McCants. Everyone is complaining that Moss isnt a Gibbs type of player, well of McCants was a Gibbs type of player then he would of been on the field more. So trade him for a pick IF you arent going to use him right?
But thats off topic, I can see how Moss and his attitude can be a cancer on this team but I can also see Sean Taylor pulling some of the same stunts in a few years and Clinton Portis might too....they seem to be from the same mentality. Both of those guys are flashy too but as long as they help us win and the teammates like them then all is good.

Depending on who we would have to give up for Moss (maybe Smoot via sign and trade??), Moss could make us instant contenders. Assuming we dont give up any offensive players we would have Ramsey, Portis, Coles, Moss, and
ey who I am expecting to have a Jason Witten like season. Our offense could be potentially deadly, and our defense is already sharp. Moss would be a great addition.

I'm an old fool at 60! I think Moss is a great receiver but I do not want him on our team.
I agree with Terri in that we are going to be very good with the receivers we have because of the improved line blocking, the better game planning and overall scheme (we may even go shotgun!!!) and the players are going to improve.
I guess my point is that even if we had Moss last season the QBs were not going to get the ball to him the way we were playing and it would have been ugly with an unhappy, spoilt child!
Now next year, this offense is going to improve - you can take that to the bank too, Terri! The players (and we may add a receiver but NOT Moss) are going to be given a better game plan and blocking scheme and IMO Coles, D Mac, Jacobs and Thrash (in no order, plus whoever) are going to have very good years.
We don't need a great receiver we need a great system and these guys we have - they are going to step up.
Super Bowls are won by better teams not better players.

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

27. moss wasn't even in the media this year until the playoffs.
who better to give the skins a deep threat?
regardless of the portis trade, i remember a lot of pepole who didn't want corey dillon last offseason, because he was a "cancer". how much of a "cancer" has he been this year under a good coach? not a peep, squeal or even one "me".

not much I can add that hasn't already been said...
Moss is an animal and has proven that he's not a team player. Jeff George is another guy who comes to mind who had all the talent in the world, but he was a cancer in the locker room and on the sideline. We don't need to have to babysit another prima donna big mouth.

jeff geoge? talent? as compared to moss? george wasn't even a top 10 qb at best, moss is a top 3 WR at worst.Redskin Don wrote:Moss is an animal and has proven that he's not a team player. oh, you must mean george's talent to throw the retard int at the worst possible moment.
not a good comparison.

Go easy on George, he was a Redskin once....God I hate the fact I can even remember that. If I only had that flash thing from Men in Black, the things I could choose to forget.

I couldnt agree more.
I would just love to see a link where it says Moss is a cancer in the locker room.
If anything he is a cancer to their defense because the O is clicking.
Please Moss bring some of that so called 'Cancer to our locker room, we need it.

Yeah. I typed too far.

What I meant is, this Offense needs swagger. CP had it at first but.......after 6000 rushing attempts it all went away.

Whether or not you want Moss, you cannot dispute his talent/ability, he's better than our top 3 COMBINED!!!! So any moron who wants to say only kids want "flashy, playmakers" is football illiterate. All GM's want playmakers, granted attitude is a factor but I THINK WE CAN ALL AGREE WE HAVE A COACH WHO IS A QUALIFIED JUDGE, Gibbs had guys with excentric behavior before and brought the best out of them are you saying he couldn't do it with 84? c'mon. Hell Ray Lewis killed somebody and all you people would take him! All this Moss talk has to do with winning football games and that's the botton line, either we get Moss or someone who is that caliber of a player (and they're aren't many) or we're doomed to field 50/50 or roll the dice on a #1 pick WR (can you say westbrook ne one). Redskins are idiots not to want Moss if they have a shot.
