You caught me :) But he was making comments all night Sunday. Tonight I replayed the Hatcher roughing penalty several times. Collinsworth was dead wrong.

Collinsworth the biggest anti-Redskin announcer?

Despite outplaying the Cowboys most of the game Sunday, I don't think I heard more than about three positive comments from Collinsworth. meanwhile, he seemed to find about 50 examples how the Cowboys were playing great, how Romo was amazing and on and on.

He even blamed a supposed low block by ...

OK, here's how i think we stand for wild Card hopes, if the Cowboys win next week:

We will win the tie breaker against the Bears, Vikings and Giants. So the Giants are pretty much done. The Vikings play the Packers, so they could definitely lose. Bears play the Lions, which is not a gimme ...

I thought the 3rd tie breaker was conference record?

For a wild card spot - YES.

To become the Division winner, NO, different tiebreakers.

Redskins have to beat Cowboys (lose tiebreakers)

If the Cowboys win vs. the Redskins next week, they will become the division winner.

This is because the Cowboys have the third tiebreaker!!!

The first tiebreaker is head to head games.
All three teams, Redskins, Cowboys and Giants will have split their head to head games, 1-1.

Second tie ...

Re: Garcon back, Banks should be benched, Cooley needs touch

Now that Garcon is back in the starting lineup, I hope we can end those completely ineffective plays where Banks shifts to the backfield. Has Banks made it past the line of scrimmage once?

I'm also tired of seeing Banks making poor KR/PR decisions, including running the PR out of the end zone this ...

Re: Predictions for Sunday- non Troll version

So, what do FANS anticipate from the opener? I mean fans who actually LIKE the Redskins, as opposed to those who claim they will secretly root against us for out own good, and then do their secret rooting at full volume. I sure hope Hightower sets the world on fire, although I hardly expect the ...

Newly cut Free agents the Redskins should consider

1. Igor Olshansky - DL - just cut from the Cowboys, Olshansky is a veteran 3-4 DE and with Jarvis on IR, Olshansky would be good depth. He lost his starting job to new free agent Coleman. Olshansky's salary was too high for a backup so the Cowboys cut him. He's been a starter his whole career for ...

Despite the misconception of three on the line being smaller, the 3-4 is a usually a bigger defense than a 4-3. The three lineman are all bigger than typical 4-3 DL's. And the 4 LB's are bigger than typical 4-3 LB's. In addition to being bigger, the 3 DL's have more gap responsibility, so the 4 LB's ...

Demarcus Ware

Beck as a viable starter

Since John Beck is being given a solid chance to win the job, there is a lot of discussion, even some dismay, about his lack of experience. I keep hearing comments like, "Who is this guy?", "why didn't Shanahan bring in a veteran?" and "why didn't they draft Dalton or Mallett?"

I think we fans ...
