Good point about mentioning Petibon and his in relation to our current situation. Makes me feel a little better thinking of it that way at least.

Sorry for not having the free time to find what may be a well known answer, but has Gibbs at any point publicly stated that he endorsed Williams as ...

I don't see it happening, but like you said, anything at this point seems possible. I actually would see this as some good news in light of how things have gone over the last few weeks. I was a Marty fan the one season he was with us and thought it was a mistake to let him go after he went 8-3 ...

Thanks REDEEMEDSKIN. What exactly is My20? I live in central VA and get WUSA9/CBS and the DC Fox station. Anyone know if it will be televised on either of these?

I don't have the NFL network, but remember last year seeing our one NFL network game televised on a DC channel. Anyone know if that will be the case again?

Gibbs has had four years, and this team is playing with the same level of inconsistency that they did under Turner and Spurrier./quote]

Three different coaches, same results.... that says to me a good part of the problem has been with our players, not just the coaching ...

I guess I'm further from DC than you since the two ABC stations I get didn't have the game on.

No doubt there's some appeal for Direct TV/NFL Ticket, etc when you live out of the area to catch the Redskins. Would do the same if I were in a different part of the world. Just think it's lame that ...

Well, I put my daughter down just in time to catch the opening kick-off, but wait, what channel is this game on? I live in cenrtal VA and in the past have been able to watch all pre-season games on any or all of the DC cbs, fox and Richmond stations I get. But nothing this night, not even on Comcast ...

"Next whipping boy?" I won't go that far, but will say even prior to Galloway's TD catch, I'd been thinking about how average at best Carlos Rodgers is. His tackling reminds me of Dion Sanders - arm tackling and blindly diving at ankles. Still early in his career, but I don't see any greatness in ...

I'm getting close to the point where I don't watch any of the pregame, or weekly NFL shows on ESPN or any other network because most of the analysts seem to just throw out statements to make some noise. I'm convinced most of them have no more clue about what's really going to happen than any of us.

Along the lines of Redskins QB history, check out this link from the Washington Post graphing our QBs win-loss records from 1993. I forgot there had been so many. Easy to say now, but even at the time I thought letting Trent Green go was a mistake.

I turned off the Redskins game with about 10 minutes left today, which is the first time in over 10 years I haven't watched a 'Skins game in it's entirety. (That includes staying up past midnight to watch us get waxed 37-0 to Green Bay back in '01 when I had over an hour commute starting at 6:45 am ...
