PRESEASON BEFORE THE HALL OF FAME GAME DEPTH CHART. we can talk about the difference between LDE and RDE all we want, and wonder endlessly why Carlos Rogers is on the depth chart at all, but in all reality, its going to go for naught because unlike american idol, our votes don't count ...

i guess if you get beat pretty bad during one game, you are not a shutdown corner anymore? well deangelo hall, guess that's it for you (Cincinatti) or Champ Bailey (Green Bay). Everyone gets beat, EVERYONE. No one was asking Shawn Springs to be a shutdown corner, that breed is extinct in today's NFL ...

Let's think about who Colt's receivers were, too. He spread the ball to 4 converted running backs, Ryan Grice-Mullen had 108 catches, Davone Bess had 106, Jason Rivers had 92 and CJ Hawthorne had 61. The first 3 went for over 1100 yards and 12 touchdowns each, and Hawthorne had 859 yards; hence the ...

BnGhog, read through the post and you'll find a story about Snyder sending Mike Nolan ice cream.

I have no doubt the story is true, and Mike Nolan is not vindictive about it in the book, which at least to me furthers his credibility in telling the story.

Looking for Summer Reading??

Keep reading, the part that deals with the Skins is in this post, I PROMISE!!

I am currently reading a book called Next Man Up: A Year Behind the Lines in Today's NFL written by John Feinstein. Basically what he did was request all access to the Ravens inside workings during the 2004-2005 season ...

a change of scenery after a 2 year suspension might help the kid, you never know. i'm all about second chances, and if koren robinson can get his and so cacn pac-man, i see no reason why odell thurman shouldn't.

i mentioned that he was not working hard enough, and the alchohol abuse was a given ...

if you can, walk to the stadium from morgan blvd, its kind of a crappy walk, but it saves the hassle of taking the shuttle to and fro, something we can't even do now

odell thurman is a former first round pick who was released after missing workouts due to his grandmother's funeral (which was later denied by Marvin Lewis).

He was "not working hard enough" to regain a spot on the team, and thus they moved on without him.

Perhaps a fresh start for this guy ...

it sounds as though yupchagee is opposed to logic as well.

the rookie salary cap would make the league just like any other business, and since players can be cut (fired) and signed (hired) on a whim or because of poor performance, it makes sense that a rookie (entry level, just out of college ...

people...calm down...its basketball. there are far more dangerous things that could be going on with him, perhaps he's playing backyard football with no pads and he decides to cut and BOOM there goes his ACL, or he's playing croquet and his mallet gets away from him and strikes him in the nads, and ...

They are looking for another first rounder "in order to secure a player they're concerned won't be on the board when they lead off the second round with the No. 32 pick overall"

Later on in the article, it states that Taylor has quietly requested a trade. Bill Parcells, ever the diplomat ...

We are looking a bit desperate, but its nothing out of the ordinary for a team that is just trying to improve themselves...I think we may see one of these trades go through on draft day depending on who is left on the board at 21 and what the cards are looking for...could be interesting.

i wouldn ...

News about Skins from Combine

Jason was named the starter for the 2008 season, and Antwaan is being moved into the slot. Jimmy Z is trying to get a WR through the draft/FA that can fill that #2 spot.

He said that its good for Jason to know this now as opposed to trying to make the decision after camp. Additionally, Todd will ...

that was quite possibly the best video i've ever seen!!

zorn seems to have a creative wit about him, something that might be able to mask his deficiencies as a head coach. i think the players will respond to him if he can get them engaged in what he's doing and gets them to relax and have fun
