me, too. I avoid seeing any movie based on a Stephen King book because the movie rarely does the book justice.tazlah wrote:Not for me... I read the SK short story years ago...

JF... I've heard very favorable reviews for The Mist. And it's done by the same film maker who did Shawshank and Green Mile... both outstanding adaptations of SK stories.
I think, in general, its extremely difficult to make most SK stories into movies because the concepts are just so incredibly imaginative.
As well, with any film adaptation of any book, you are merely witnessing the film-maker's creative impression of the written word. However, Frank Darabont did an incredible job in maintaining the integrity of Shawshank and Green Mile... so, I will give him the benefit of doubt for The Mist. I look forward to seeing it.

If men can run the world, why can't they stop wearing neckties? How intelligent is it to start the day by tying a little noose around your neck?

that movie was the worst move i have ever seen. the plot was easy to predict, the acting was worse than bad, and the ending was the biggest anticlimactic bunch of bs i have ever seen.
i used to respect tom jane as an actor, simply because i loved his role as the Punisher, but his role in the mist was just a screaming, babbling fool. this movie should win an award for best comedy.

The Mist was surprisingly good. From what I hear, except for the ending, it's pretty acurate to the novella it was adapted from. I would recommend seeing it if your on the bubble about it.
I don't have to sell my soul,
He's already in me,
I don't need to sell my soul,
He's already in me.
I wanna be adored
I wanna be adored.
Stone Roses

He's already in me,
I don't need to sell my soul,
He's already in me.
