Zorn

From Pro Football Weekly:
"There is a growing sense of respect for new head coach Jim Zorn around Redskins Park — from top to bottom — we hear. The players reportedly love his coaching style and organization, and he has made a lot of people move on very quickly from Joe Gibbs — perhaps faster than ...

Redskins Fantasy

Hi guys-
Some of you who know me know that I work for a fantasy sports company called RotoHog.com. Our main game is a really addictive stock exchange game where you draft a team of players whose prices rise and fall in real time based on supply and demand. So if Romo breaks his arm, you can drop ...

Personally, I have no idea why the Skins wanted to keep him, if they weren't keeping Al. I think it was an awful keep. Todd played very well for the Skins when called upon, but it was something he'd been doing for 10 years or so....

Why not just get a backup with some sort of knowledge of the ...

After reading this thread carefully, count me in the camp with those who are happy with this deal. JT is going to be a great addition to the D and I think a few weeks into the season those who are concerned will look back and be pretty happy with this move.

I think it's a bit too late now, although I love the idea. I hope they feature the Redskins on Hard Knocks at some point because it's a great program and really gives you some in depth insight into what it takes to make an NFL football team. Normally it's something I look forward to every preseason ...

It's sad to hear the feelings on the board about FedEx. I never got a chance to see the Skins at RFK, but I've been to games at FedEx the past few years. I've had great times, but it definitely didn't blow me away like some college stadiums have. I will say that one thing always takes the atmosphere ...

I wouldn't worry about negative responses. Unless I'm wrong, I think scenarios like Moss for Bolden are exactly what this forum is for. In my opinion, I doubt the Cardinals would do something like that, and it is probably a wash from the Skins' perspective. Personally, I like receivers in the Bolden ...

Re: Camp countdown '08: Washington Redskins

Why would anyone thing we would be 5 games worse than last yr?

5 was the magic number between 2005 (10-6) and 2006 (5-11) as well. As a fan, I think (hope) we'll be much better than 4-12, but this team just has so many questions, it's hard to predict what the final record will be. The questions ...

I think the most successful coaches (and CEOs for that matter) are the ones that set up a good system and let it work. The jury is still out on whether or not JZ is doing this, but he's done nothing to date that gives fans any reason to worry, IMO.

BFD's Work Ethic

I mentioned this in the draft thread, but it warrants repeating. When BFD got to USC he was recruited as a wide receiver. Once he got into the strength and conditioning program he started ballooning up, and coaches asked him to play TE. He reluctantly agreed, realizing that it was his best chance to ...
