You just most succinctly nailed what bugs me about the Scherff complaints this week.

Re: Jackson: Griffin To Run Read Option Like 2012

I think it would be dumb NOT to have read option plays built into the game plan...

Look at what seattle does with Wilson. They use elements of the read option to keep defenses off balance.

I like this option. He's likely to get hurt just rolling out of the pocket. Might as well force the ...

Re: "This owner has it"

Snyder could be a pretty good guy with best intentions at heart. None of us know this either way. Fact is, you hear it from a lot of people that actually know him, saying he's a good guy with nothing but winning at the top of his list. ey insists that he's a great guy. Unfortunately, until now, he ...

Re: Scott On Griffin

From all reports Scot's evaluating every single player on the roster & also trying to figure out how to make the best out of what he's got

it's a process - let's see how it goes before we 'decide' how it's going to be

Agreed. The media in this area are pure scum. They're just trying to milk ...

that is an incredible thought ... you obviously have no clue about what is going on here

Re: Preparation

Then there's Orakpo taking up $11 mil in cap (could be two quality OL) and what do we get from him again this year???

The front office did the smart thing with Orakpo. That $11 million is the franchise tag. We part ways with him this offseason with no dead cap.

It was either that or sign him ...

Re: GAMEDAY THREAD: Cowpokes at Skins

Youd think with Cutler and Vic being the top qbs in FA and a rather weak draft class wed be a little more tolerant of the guy who brought hope back to DC.
Another year to heal.
Another full offseason to improve on his pocket skills
Another FA and draft to amp up the lines.

He hasnt even put up ...

Re: GAMEDAY THREAD: Cowpokes at Skins

Youd think with a subpar OL that RG3 would have a FASTER clock....but he doesn't. Im tired of this pistol crap cuz he cant drop back. Then he always fumbles. Wasted PICKS. I was high on him and now its obvious he is a project as an NFL qb. Hopefully Rex Ryan don't get any HC offers and he comes ...

I know its hard to keep the qb out of the blame game, but there isnt a qb who would be able to keep up with what this D gives up.. as good as we played in Dallas times that by 100 in how poor we played today.

That's cool. Wasn't criticizing the post or anything; just like to engage a good discussion.

That said, I'm probably too focused on the who stays who goes mentality at this point.

Re: GAMEDAY THREAD: Cowpokes at Skins

What I take away from all of this is that Gruden just may be starting to design plays around the team`s talent. Execution is spotty, but its a step in a better direction; RG3 is even improving (if ever so slightly).

Re: Is the defense really that far off from being good?

IMO, yes it is that far off from being good. There are only two starting quality players, Breeland and Kerrigan. Yes, there are some other good players but would they actually be starters anywhere else? Maybe a partial year of experience and an off-season will get them there. As for Haslett, his ...
