My boy Darrell was killed last night in a car accident. I was told that he was attempting to avoid hitting a motorcyclist, hit a guardrail and flipped his car.
I went to college with D and he automatically gave me his friendship and I returned mine the same. Aside from God, Darrell Hill is a main reason I got through college. Darrell got e through calculus and advanced alegebra. The school hated our class. They usually got real adults and weren't used to a bunch of kids out of H.S. Man...I'll finish this later.
We had this cat from Russia called Leonid who hacked our schools servers and filled it with porn. I can't count how many times they took away our network connectivity. We corrupted 2 out of 3 of ours professors. They would play Age of Empires and Half Life, whats better than having a LAN party at school with your teachers? We would run to McDonalds and other places on our breaks, wed pack into our cars and do some of the craziest stuff that you'd ever believe.
FOOTBALL! I had some of my best pick-up games with Darrell. D is about 2 inches taller than me and about 30 lbs. heavier and he swore he could hang with me. Darrell ran me over plenty of times when he played RB but couldn't cover me to save his life. We'd go to Ballys together and work out in recent weeks.
I think what really hurts is that life is becoming very apparent to me. As a kid you kinda live in this imaginary world, you dont really realize the kind of stuff that life can throw at you. Darrell and I had plans to start a business together and go back to school together and get out bachelors.
I think the funniest thing that happened was how the professors could never pronounce his name correctly. I would enforce their wrong ways and eventually it stuck. Nobody in the school said his name correctly. At graduation they forgot to call Darrells name. I stood up in the middle of the ceremonry and yelled out "you forgot Darrell hill!". So the guy was like "who?" and I said his name the wrong way as loud as I could and Darrell was never really correctly acknowledged for his college degree.

Its going to be hard to deal with this one.
*Its crazy how you get a lump in your throat, the weird thing is Im not even talking.*
R.I.P to one of my best friends...
