Joe Gibbs poll

it's a loaded poll I know, but it just feels good to even type it all :-)
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

George Michael says that Gibbs is building the most powerful staff he's seen.

I'm taking my lunch at noon...eating in the conference room in front of the TV with Fox 5 news on - hoping to see a news conference. I just hope I don't choke on lunch. Hehehe !

You know what? A little bit of "We're getting the band back together" is a whole lot of fun!

But getting guys like Williams, Grimm and others who have contact with the contemporary NFL is going to be a BIG help. =D> \:D/ :celebrate: :nana:

all of the above......gibbs gets who he wants. he'll have a HUGE impact on free agency too. players will want to play for him. just like caoches will want to coach for him.

The problem you'll run into with some of these guys is that they are currently under contract. One of the problems Bill had in Dallas was that he couldn't just go out and get who he wanted from the old days.

The team owner has to request permission from each team to interview their guys. If it's a clear promotion, position coach to coordinator for instance, there's not much a team can do to stand in the way. However, if you're bringing in a position coach from a similar role on his current team, you can be denied permission and typically teams *do* deny permission.

Since you already have your defensive coordinator set, the only "upgrade" path is likely through offensive coordinator from a position coach. You might get away with an "assistant head coach" type of flim-flam, but the leageu has kinda cracked down on that sort of thing in the last few years.

What's Grimm's role in Pittsburgh? If he's their o-line coach, chances are you won't see him as the Skins o-line coach. Just an example.

Gregg Williams

I thought that it was already official that Gibbs was hiring Gregg Williams...Heard it on the sports junkies this morning on the way to work.

BTW, when I heard them talking about Coach Gibbs I too couldn't believe it. Even after they flat out said that Gibbs wdas the new coach I had to check espn.com this morning when I got to work.

I've been useless at work all day....I'm just so excited.

I heard about this after I got out of court watching a friend escape a bad prosecution and the day gets better when I get a call back about Bugel and Williams :)

Oh happy days!

Any chance of scheduling a game with Dallas during the off-season?

And what about Riggo? He'd make a dern fine mascot or somethin' like that? Wonder if Riggo does feathers? Won't hurt to ask.

Man, I am too happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
