Sig line bets?

Boss, that's why I went sigs only and only the PG Hog Wash/Gameday variety. I appreciate the work you guys put in.

I never bet cash on Cowboys games, homerism creeps in, the same as no one here should ever bet on Redskins games. Emotion clouds judgement. Plus the odds of seeing the money from some anonymous username are slim and none and slim's leaving town.

The bet is on between BTP and myself. BTP probably knows me well enough to know that I won't welch if I lose. Even though I don't have a huge post count (I only comment when I feel that a comment is needed and it adds substance to the debate), I'm pretty sure BTP understands me well enough to feel comfortable with our wager.

Smooch, Smooch, Kiss, Kiss....Curve wipe the brown off and grow some! Every forum has the capability to handle Avatars easily without the mods controlling them, that's BossHog's choice. I assume Signature images are outlawed too?

SSIII I guess we are restricted to a Sig line bet.......too hard to type in a path to an image. :roll:

SSIII, go over to the Guide and I will make the same bet, avatar, sig image, whatever!

Nah, I didn't have clouded judgement.....Boss knows he's my favorite Hoser Skins fan. Or the only Hoser Skins fan I know? I as a Cowboy fan am not gonna be over on this board smooching so much Skin bottom! I understand why Boss has his forum setup this way, to stop trolls from posting porn avatars or something. To give him more control or whatever, I also know the features of this forum because I have set my share of them up. Boss knows I gotta give him a hard time, as I have in the past but don't ever expect the burgundy poop on my nose!

And if you've 'set the same forums up' on your own... you should realize that... they're not actually even custom avatars... they're custom ranks with a specific custom image. They CANNOT be changed by ANYONE but me... not even mods. First the rank has to be assigned a pic, then the rank has to be assigned to a person. This isn't for 'power' as you errantly assumed, this is the only way to set it up so that NOBODY can use someone else's avatar.

But keep acting like you really know what you're talking about DCF... maybe you'll convince one or two people. :rock:

How about Click on Ranks - Click Add New Rank - Type in a Rank Title - Set as Special Rank by putting a dot in Yes - Set Your Minimum Posts by typing in a number - Then fill in the text box of the path of the image! See if that doesn't walk you through it!

What I was talking about was how you can easily turn on the Avatar Gallery Path in the Configuration screen by clicking yes! This would allow me and everyone else the ability to create our own Avatars and link them to where we host them! You could even allow Avatar Uploading and people could upload their own avatar and you would still have control of them so you don't get the Trolls posting porn pics or something.

I don't care about the peanut gallery or what they think of me. I don't know them or you! Have I had some razzing with you before, yes! I might have been disrespectful, I always think of it as being a smart *butt*! I guessed I missed the Rules of the Board where the Admin was off limits to a little slam or smart eleck remark? I guess I will stick to the Smack forum where the egg-shells are all broken! I know I can't always get what I want or else i would be retired, married to Daniella Cicarelli and the Cowboys would have won the last 20 Super Bowls!

... I'm quite aware of how to operate the board, and your condescending attitude is more evidence that all the knowledge in the world won't buy you a drop of cooth.

I think it's great that you know how to run a board... i just wonder if you've ever administered one single-handedly that had any people on it. Some of us can barely find the time to moderate accordingly, let alone even think about having to moderate everyone's sigs... avatars... and change or edit accordingly.

It's fine to do things once or twice or even a half a dozen times, but when you have to do anything 200 times, it's a little more time-consuming.

I'm also glad that you have your own ideas on how a board should be run... unfortunately, they're not ours... and we don't share your opinion. We have fundamental differences in opinion of what a board is all about.
