Sig line bets?

Post by curveball »

Anyone want to place a friendly wager of a twenty post sig line bet?

No spread - straight up.

The twenty posts must be in Hog Wash or Gameday.

All sigs must conform to the rules of the site (i.e. no profanity etc.)

I'll go 50, it doesn't make much sense for me to go any higher, I don't post here that often and probably don't have 100 total posts in Hog Wash.

I'll be lucky to read half of your posts if I do win.

Everytime you propose a bet here... I tell you I'm game and you always dance around it.... If your not that confident, then we'll just do 50 for you pal....Just goes to show how much faith you have in your team..

OK, we're on for 50.

As I said, I just don't come here enough to do 100. It's taken me almost a year to get to over 200 posts. You can spit out 100 posts in one thread.

He's talking about the signature, the one under everyone's posts.... that says something praising,inspiring,witty... or in some cases... stupid....

Basically he wants to bet a certain number of signature posts.... where he gets to put something in mine and vise-versa.... pending on the outcome of the Redskins/Cowboys game this Monday night....

Can I get in on this, or has BTP locked up your sig? I suppose you could have two sigs couldn't you?

Maybe you should tweak the bet a little so that Curveball has to post you sig on his board.

Just a thought.

I really don't post much on the F2F board anymore, I got into it with some people about their treatment of guests from other teams and additional things.

Your On! What's the time constraint? Till the next game and bet again?

Mods, I know it has to fit the rules and regs but I think you guys would have to change mine. Doesn't let me yet? Or maybe you don't let anyone? Not sure? Also what are the size and height restrictions? Can it be linked offsite, or have to be uploaded?

Only BossHog can change avatars at this time. Before the game, you need to check with him to find out if he will have time to do this.

SSIII, you are putting up more than DCF! When you win, all he has to do is not show his new avatar around these parts for a couple of months. I guess the same goes for all these other 'Pie fans making bets. They won't be around on Tuesday anyway, so what have they got to lose by betting? If we shoot ourselves in the foot once again, they will be all over the place, but if we play the way we are capable of playing, they will be nowhere to be found.

Do sigs all you want because you can change them yourselves. But there is not a chance in hell of avatar bets for anyone... and whether you make them or not is of no consequence. All of the custom avatars here are not generic avatars, they are customized and each one is manually added and assigned to the person in the administration section.

This board is not your personal play toy. SOME OF US basically have to break our backs to get everything done around this site. I'm certainly not about to add changing avatars at a person's whim to my list of duties or anyone else's for that matter.

Why don't you all do something normal like bet money?

Weirdos.

Only problem is, once the designated # of posts has expired and the loser changes the sig back to what thwy had before, the change then shows up in ALL posts, even the ones that were originally posted with the "bet" sig.
